Thought it would be a good idea to keep all of these experiences in one place for future reference.
We crossed INTO the US by land on Nov. 10. We were asked for our car license plate. We were asked for our passports and if we were vaccinated. No proof of vaccination was required.
We crossed back into Canada on Nov. 20. We were asked for our passports. We handed them over and he saw that we had the Arrivecan paper ready as well but he said he didn't need to see it. He asked for our license plate number and then asked to see our test results. He went over those for a minute and then asked what else we had to declare. We had a nice little chat about not being there for quite a while and then we were sent on our way.
There were 3 cars ahead of us when we arrived at the border at 8 pm. A few cars took quite a while and we saw one heading over for extra inspection. We were relatively speedy as we had everything ready for them.
