We are planning on taking 4.5yo ds' booster seat with us for the rental car (and the airport limo to and from the airport)

Any idea if Air Transat will have some sort of plastic bag I can put the booster seat into or should I be taking something?? I know we can't take the seat onto the plane as it's a booster and not a 5pt harness (plus I'm sure he would be more comfy in just the seat!!) so we are planning on checking it.

Just another of my overplanning paranoia Questions!!lol

down to single digits tomorrow :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :teeth:

We just checked ours in 99 when my wife and mother and sister and brother flew down with our then 3 year old we just wrote our name on it in big black magic marker and put it in the check in. No bag or anything and it was prefectly fine.

We just returned from our trip and we also took a booster seat for our 5 year old (he's small) for the rental car. They gave us a tag for our name and checked it in with our luggage - no bag. We also gate checked our stroller and had no problems with either. It was simple and saved the rental costs for both items.

Enjoy your trip!!

You should have no problems with that -I have yet to fly without an airline having those big clear plastic bags to put them into. We finally got wise our last trip and buckled one of my son's stuffed animals into the seat (which was them securely sealed in the plastic bag). It was a great "free" way to get this light but big item on vacation with us. the only problem was I was a little concerned about it getting lost- you can always buy a new booster seat, but you can't always replace a well worn stuffed friend!:wave2:
