Booking for Fall 2015

Now that the dates are out for Food and Wine Festival for 2015 I am sure that dates will be hard to get in the fall for the resorts. I am curious about booking soon for our trip in 2015. I am curious if I book before the fall discounts from Disney are released when they are released will I be able to get them after the fact?

For fall also which resorts fill up faster? I would assume resorts closer to Epcot would fill up faster or am I wrong? Thanks!!

If you book now and a discount comes out later, you can call and have the discount applied to your reservation, provided what you have booked is available under that discount. Sometimes you have to be flexible with your resort and/or room type as having a reservation already in place does not guarantee a discount can be applied. If you will go regardless of whether or not a discount comes out, I'd book now to make sure you get what you want. If your trip is dependent on a discount, I'd wait to see what discounts (if any) are released for your dates. Since Disney releases discounts to fill rooms, booking now in hopes of a discount later means that's one less room Disney needs to fill. With that said, the Epcot resorts do have a tendency to fill up fast during F&W.

I have a bounce back ressie for October from our stay last week. Will that be the best rate that will be offered, or are packages sometimes a better deal. We want to stay at POR preferred alligator bayou.
