Booking Exceptions- hard to get?

We have requested an exception to book the Disney Cruise for a sailing date one day earlier then a new contract closing date (points at Saratoga). It seems to be an extensive task for the sales agent. I was under the impression from some I talked to that this was very easy. We have been waiting a long time for this now and the rooms are booking fast on the ship.
Any insight out there??

I am like Dean. I have always been told that there are no exception to that rule. I do wish you luck though in getting an exception.
