Day 5 October 30, 2012 Part 11
We left off walking through the queue of Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid ride at the New Fantasyland Enchanted Forest. When I first saw the exterior of the Little Mermaid ride it was really amazing with the details of the coral, lighting, ship wreck, etc. around the queue. The exterior of the Little Mermaid ride at the MK is way better than the Disney California Adventure exterior building. Now we were walking through the queue of the Little Mermaid to go on the ride.
We were walking through the queue which was quite long. It was a nice queue where it was well detailed with these different decorations. I was falling behind the rest of my group since I wanted to get as much pictures of the queue as possible. The music in the background is from the movie which was nice to hear.
There were a lot of ship wreck items in the caves
A sign that has Ariel signature on it
Another sign
A nice light fixture during the queue
My group was way in front of me while I was trying to keep up with them while I am taking as many pictures of the queue
While we were passing by the queue, we got to see Scuttle as an interactive with the guests in the queue. But we didnt get to interact with him since we were walking through the queue very quickly. I wanted to see Scuttle while we were walking through the queue but my group was way ahead of me so had to catch up with them.
Now we inside which looks like a castle interior
When we got close to the loading area at the Little Mermaid ride, the clam mobiles are just the same as DCA as well as the background. The only difference between the two loading areas is that the MK version is more of a castle interior while the DCA version is more of a aquarium type of building.
We had to load my relatives through the other side of the queue since they were in wheelchairs. So we went on the other side of the loading area which was the off loading area when the guests exit the ride.
We got in the clam mobiles and I was in one by myself while the others went in their own. The Clam mobiles are exactly the same and I knew that the MK version is exactly like the DCA version. But I am looking forward to see if there are any differences between the two versions.
I was thinking of using my video camera to videotape the ride, but I wanted to take pictures after I took pictures of the Little Mermaid ride when I rode it in August with my DB and his GF. The first pictures turned out okay and this time with the help from PiO and other people that do photography, I was ready for taking pictures of the Little Mermaid ride.

There is Ariel and Flounder with something in the bag
The next part was Ariel, Flounder and Sebastian in Ariels Grotto with all her collection from the real world. This scene was just the same as the DCA version.
Thats it for this post from Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid and I will have more from the ride on the next post.
