Boardwalk Villas, best room location?

We will prob have to stick with BWV, as there is nothing else availabe for when we are going. Anyone who has stayed at the Boardwalk Villas, can you tell me the best room location? Is there a section close to elevators, best view, etc.? I will be calling back to make a more specific request and hope they will honor it. Also, will they work with us with an earlier check-in? My concern is the long drive and having to wait will all medical equipment for room to be ready late in the day. Many thanks.

We love staying on the first floor on the end closest to the tennis courts. The Quite pool is right there, you can go out the end door to walk to Hollywood Studios or walk to parking lot if you have a car or bus stop. It is a longer walk to the elevators to go to lobby or to walk out to the boardwalk, but being closer to the other things for us makes it worth it. Boardwalk is our home resort so we have stayed all over the hotel over the past 13yrs of our DVC membership. Hope this helps.
