Just bragging here.

I had to make our reservations for our trip this fall. We wanted the BWV with a Boardwalk view. Mrs Conan usually does the reservations, and does them well.

Well, we got the BWV, but, only a prefered view, not the Boardwalk...until we got the letter today that our wait list for that view went through!!!

We also got one night at POP for $70 for the night before check in, so we can cruise down and not have to rush.

Do you ever think they do that on purpose just to add a little more magic?? Sometimes I think they have those Boardwalk views available but tell you No and make you "settle" on a pool view........and then BAM aren't-we-great-because-we-got-you-what-you-wanted? hehehehehe

There's no place like home. There's no place like home. There's no place like home...... well, THAT didn't work, but just hearing that you are going to be out on your own balcony, with the joyous noise filtering up from the Boardwalk, looking at the spectacular softly lit Spaceship Earth....exhausted from a great day in the parks.. (maybe with a cold beverage in hand?) retracing your day full of memories... well, shame on me but I just can't stand it. I am greener than Al Gore.

You will LOVE the Boardwalk view!!
One warning though: Once you have stayed in a Boardwalk view, it will be very difficult to stay in a standard/preferred view. We booked our first stay as DVC members (nine years ago) in a BW view, and every stay at the BWV since has been a BW view.

Congrats! We have a 2BR BW view reserved for our 11-night June trip. It'll be our first time with the BW view as I usually cheap out on the points and go with Standard view. I fear I will fall in love with this view though!

Why Yes, it is during the F&W Festival.

Sept 28 through the 3rd. It's our anniversary: 10 years of Marriage!
(actually the 28th we will be at the Pop for one night as we don't have enough points for that extra weekend day and do the rest of our traveling).

We had a Spaceship Earth view from BCV last May. It was wonderful also.

Slight change...that is the 27th through the 3rd... staying at the Pop on the 27th and moving to BWV on the 28th.

Congrats, we've stayed at BWV with Boardwalk view, pool-view, and standard-view. Boardwalk view IS great...you can watch the fireworks from the balcony, people-watch, and check out the entertainment below. Have a great time !!!
