BL9 Friday Exercise Challenge - Kick of the challenge with a BANG!

Ok everyone,

Friday is the kick-off of our BL9 Spring Challenge. Since it's a Holiday, most of us will most likely be home (sorry to those who have to work).

I challenge all of us - even those that work to exercise on Friday. It doesn't matter what you do, just do something.

If it's not cold out I'm going to go do a nice brisk walk outside for 45-60 minutes. If it's too cold, I'm going to do the same on the TM.

Who's with me???? Brush off your sneaks and let's get moving!
 
count me in! a good way to start the new year off. Hopefully I can go outside if the weather cooperates otherswise I get on the TM and hope it still works:lmao:
 
I'm in! :thumbsup2 We will have freezing rain so I will commit to 30 minutes of WATP (Walk Away the Pounds).
 
I'm in. I can't go to the pool, because they're closed but I could get out and do some "wogging".

I have to work 10 - 12 so that means zero movement at that time, so I do need to exercise...I will commit to a video - 35 minutes - and a 20 minute walk.:eek:

I'm in. I'm hoping for 30 min. on the Wii Fit and to do at least half of the 30-Day Shred.
 
I'm in! I'm re-motivated this time!! I think we are doing breakfast at my parents that day, so I'll either do 30 TM minutes BEFORE if I get up in time, or 30 TM minutes in the afternoon. I'd also like to get out the WiiFit. . .maybe I'll challenge DH to a Fitness Match!!
 
i'll definitely add some type of exercise in. I won't be home to use my wii fit but i'll make something work.

Wow! It's nice to see so many folks committing to a workout to start the New Year!

There is a monthly exercise challenge on the WISH boards that is run by goldcupmom (Julie) that is for BL folks as well as other Wishers.
 
I also threw out my mid-back last night. Pray it's ok to exercise tomorrow. Luckily it's not the lower back. As long as I don't go to much side to side or lift my arms above my head I should be ok.

I've had a major sinus infection the last 1.5 wks and finally resolving (actually left the house yesterday since Christmas). I think all the coughing and now yesterday I could not stand upright :headache:. I was walking around like an old woman flexed at the hips! I've had a hot pack on since and I can stand today.

I hope hope hope I can do some work out tomorrow! I will really try. It might help loosen my back if I start slow on the walk.

I'm hoping that when DH gets up that he goes and gets me a new heating pad. We had to throw out our heating pad becuase the plastic melted.

oh wow - the first time since Christmas, you poor thing. I hope your back feels better - I feel your pain - literally, lol!
 
I will try my best to get in some kind of exercise on Friday, if not, Saturday, then Monday are on my exercise schedule. I am going to try for at least 30 mins. every other day.
 
I ordered the 2 new BL videos so I'm hoping they come today and I can do them tomorrow. Otherwise I'll do something else!
 
I vow to be on my elliptical trainer bright and early New Year's Day!
