Biggest Loser 2009 - Couples 2

I was thinking that it was close to the end he must have lost enough and then the cliffhanger...

This is my first season watching the show. How many weeks make up a season? Thanks!

Who the heck knows--They have been putting all these twists and turns in this season--All I know is that this just seems to be going on and on and on. To me it seems like there are a lot more contestants left, for this many episodes.

And for the cliffhanger:rolleyes: Even my 10 Y.O. thinks this season sucks.

Blah!!!

In the commercial for the cliffhanger, they show Bob's reaction. He is wearing a black sweater when in reality he had on aqua blue. How dumb!

I'm sure enough weight was lost and every one gets another week. That's my prediction and I'm sticking to it.

I really didn't like last night's episode. Kristen whiny butt constantly complaining about losing challenges? gee ya think? You just voted off the guy who could have run all that food onto the truck lickety split in favor of the guy with the bum knee who could only stand by the conveyor belt and put cereal in a bag.

LOL at the "11 fat people in a kitchen" quip though.

Mikey is a sweetheart. I'm pulling for him to win, even though I think his Dad should be gone. He was separated from his Dad AND his trainer and yet he's not doing the boo hoo boo hoo pouting crap.

I'm tired of Jillian picking on Laura. She's losing 7 to 8lbs a week. Leave her alone.

I hate all of them right now :sad2:.

Oh yeah. At the end DH and I both screamed NOOOOOOOOOOOO and scared the kids. LOL

See, I think he probably didn't lose enough because of the cliffhanger. Had it been a normal show one person would go this week and one next week but with the cliffhanger nobody went this week so 2 people will go next week. Just my thoughts.

I hope Mikey lost enough though. You can tell he was raised right with his unselfish gift to Aubrey of the groceries. I bet Ron was so proud of him! I know I was and he isn't even my kid.

I was so mad that they did not show Mike's loss. The whole show is stretched to 2 hours showing all this stuff that is boring, dragging it out, now they are stretching 1 show past 2 hours!!!!!! Give me a break! If I didn't like the teams so much this time around, I probably would have stopped watching it by now.

Not good Biggest Loser producers! Shame on you!!!!!!!!:sad2:

I missed the very start of the show. Did Bob say anything about them voting off Dane?

Has anyone else ever noticed that the reactions at the weigh-ins never seem to correlate with what really happens? I try to "time-shift" my viewing of Biggest Loser because I hate all the commercial breaks and poorly acted reactions to nothing. They must make Bob and Jillian do a *GASP* close-up reaction every week to plop in where they need it.

Uh, yea. You deserve to lose the challenge. You did not vote off Ron. You are a dumb team. You deserve that loss and I am happy you lost. Jerks.

How about the rant on Jillian?:lmao: Yea, she is a B. However the former Bob team members have some serious boulders on their shoulder.

Dragging this out for next week was irritating but I guess they got alot of good rants and gossip over this week and want to stretch out the drama. :sad2:

The 40 minute weigh in's need to stop...

I time shift too and pause it, do a few chores around the house then fast forward lol

And robin your so right... seems like they say... ok everyone look happy.. ok everyone look disgusted... ok everyone look mad... How about an eye roll shot now....

Thank goodness for pause and fast forward, that's all I can say lol

Not one word....

I am going with he did not lose the weight and they are going to have a soap opera filled show with fighting and people stomping around.:sad2:

:lmao:

My favorite thing about last night was when someone commented about how "Finally, we could focus on the thing we are here for- to lose weight..." (It might have been Kristen in her interview commenting on the weigh in together instead of against each other) and I immediately thought of this thread since we have been crabbing about that from the beginning!!!

I agree, that this is NOT their best season and I thought after last year's Heba/Vicki fiasco nothing could top that for tackiness- I WAS WRONG!! :sad2:

I agree! Their reactions rarely match up with what's really being revealed.

Also, I know this may sound mean, but did anyone think that when Mikey gave his reward of free groceries to the girl from the other team, that he was doing it for "brownie points"?

I know he seemed really genuine with the offer, and he probably was, but I think he did it also with thinking it might have saved him from getting voted off too soon.

I think I heard someone say this season is 7 weeks longer then normal.

Jillian had said it on a radio show or something.

Yes, I think in part he was thinking it would be a good "game play" move. (And it probably is!) But I do think he was genuinely happy that he did it once he saw Aubrey's reaction. I think Mandi was more moved by it than Aubrey!

He seems like a really nice kid!
