Yay or nay? Have my FP window opening next week and trying to figure out what to try and book. Will be doing MK over two days. He's 46/47" if that helps. Thx
Should say YEAR old. Darn fat fingers on iPhone. . .
My DD5 LOVED it, but she had just gotten into roller coasters over the summer. So it would depend on your child. There are no huge drops...just more turns. And it goes in the tunnel but not for long.
My DD (almost 5 when she rode it) loved it. It's really not that scary. It's fast but there are no real hills. I let DD watch it a few times before we got on and then let her decide whether we would ride it or not.
Thank you! It's been over 20 years since I've been to WDW myself so my memories are foggy to say the least. I've been checking out stuff on YouTube too but you cant tell somethings by a video.
It's not scary, but the lighter you are, the more you will feel the speed and the bumps and stuff. I would ask for a seat in the front for a slightly tamer ride for a first ride with a young child.
My daughter had just turned four when we took her to WDW for the first time. We rode BTMRR over and over at her request! She loved it and Soarin'. I was too scared to let her on Tower of Terror, but she was tall enough. She did get scared on Splash Mtn and Dinosaur.
If the kid is tall enough, then they can ride. Whether they will like it or not depends on the kid. Without knowing your kid we can't really tell you if he will like it or not. has he tried a smaller coaster like Barnstormer?

It was a big YES for our son (at Disneyland, his first trip to WDW will be this February). He was 4, almost 5 the first time he rode it. He is a huge thrill-seeker, though. He rode Journey to Atlantis at Sea World, Space Mountain in California, Thunder Mountain, the Matterhorn, and every other fast ride he was tall enough for. He loved them all.
I'm sending him on Tower of Terror with his Grandpa this vacation. This mama can't handle it! LOL
Same here. My ds was 4yo. He loved it and rode it multiple times that trip. Then, one year later at 5yo, he no longer liked it Now he is 6yo and we leave in a little over a week. He says he is riding it. We'll see
