BIG BROTHER 19! SPOILER THREAD! "SUMMER OF TEMPTATION"

I cannot stand all the crying and hysteria and drama queen antics that go on -- and this season it seems to have started way too early. My DH and I could not fathom why Josh turned so wholeheartedly against Megan in the very first 3 days -- calling her out for things she didn't do and smearing her name. Then when Cody nominated her and said he didn't like her -- I felt really bad for her that she had a meltdown and couldn't take it. It was so intense and I just don't think she expected that in just the first week. I wish she had stuck it out and not left -- but I thought that BB was ridiculous in having an eviction anyway after they had already lost one.

Yes, they not only did the phone lines and flooded the voting phones, but she even hired a plane to go over with a fly over banner. And I couldn't even tell you that I remember the winner of that first season -- Eddie McGee! I don't remember anything about him on that show -- he left no impression.

Here's a link to the complete list of winners: http://www.cbs.com/shows/big_brother/news/1002470/

Our three favorites this year are Matthew, Jason and Christmas. But I think Kevin could walk away with it since he is staying to himself and going with the flow. And I absolutely love his outlook on life: http://www.cbs.com/shows/big_brother/cast/215653/
The only thing I remember about the first winner is that he only had one leg - and I don't remember the circumstances, maybe an illness?

I'm surprised Kevin knows who 2 Chainz is.

Well, with 7 kids he's probably learned from them LOL. I was very surprised how little he knew about BB and the past winners. Surprised he even applied to be on it.

I must say I absolutely loved how everyone was lying straight to Cody's face that they stuck with the plan and voted for Christmas. All he has to do is count to realize no way did she get that many votes! When Paul replaced Josh with him, the look on his face was death! He is one creepy guy!

GEEEEZ, I recorded BB last night as I always do. Went to watch it and the ENTIRE SHOW was all pixelated .... OMG, I missed the whole show and I so wanted to see it.

I tried On Demand ... nope. Not on there. AND BB does not run any REPLAYS of their shows.

:sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2:

I always tell Dh how Cody has serial killer eyes. He has that murderous "death" stare. And he is so intense, rarely smiles, just creepy. When the show first started, I wanted to root for him, being a military brat myself and all, but he's so vile. There's just no way.

I don't see them doing away with double elimination. I do see there being another twist in the den of temptation and maybe someone extra being allowed back in the house to make up for it possibly.

Shows don't usually show up in our demand for a few days. I would keep checking throughout the week.

Wait a day or two. We are always having trouble with Comcast not uploading the shows in our area by the next day!

I just found out, too, that next week they are going back to the two heads of household. That is one of the worst ideas they've ever had and I think it really skews the game. I like the den of temptation, but hope they don't bring anyone else back. But if Christmas can't return, they may have to because then they'll be down two players not planned for.

I think Cody has frightening eyes and really gets a killer look that is extremely uncomfortable. That dumb Jessica really wrapped her arms around the wrong ally! When the camera catches some of his looks (probably when he thinks no one is looking), it makes my blood run cold. And he proved this week that he is nothing but a bully the way he went after Josh and degraded him and kept telling him to shut up. He is such a nutcase -- my husband said he is displaying sociopathic tendencies! His actions sure fit the bill:

What are the traits of a sociopath?
A sociopath can be defined as a person who has Antisocial Personality Disorder. This disorder is characterized by a disregard for the feelings of others, a lack of remorse or shame, manipulative behavior, unchecked egocentricity, and the ability to lie in order to achieve one's goals.

I
I remember that too. That's why they stopped having the viewers vote for evictions and left it to the houseguests. It was too easy for the public to set up phone banks and fix the vote.

It was also not a very interesting game, because there was really no social strategy. It was all about being liked by America- sit back and just be likeable doesn't make for good television :flower3:

I liked when the viewers got to vote. It made the game more fair to me. You knew production wasn't able to play around with the outcomes.

True -- but back then (unlike nowadays on American Idol and all) they didn't limit the number of calls (at least on the first show) and it created huge problems. But I do think production manipulates the show too much now to make it more dramatic!

You have to wonder how much they are acting in this house. Last night's BBAD Paul and Cody were talking up a storm, smiling, laughing. Even Cody and Josh were civil to each other, although didn't have much interaction.

Just as I suspected, although CBS did show Paul telling Rames to throw it, they did not show Paul telling everyone in the house to ignore Rames, to exclude him and make him feel uncomfortable in the house.

I watched the first season of BB, it was boring since the audience voted. They never had to vote each other out, so no need for fights or backstabbing. So I do prefer the non-audience voting, I just wish production would stay out of it.

Watching more of BBAD they had their weekly "talk show" they do with Dominque as the host. She interviews the guests on the block. So it was Alex, Rames and Cody. Out of the three interviews Cody's was the most interesting to watch. He was very open and answered all her questions, although refused to answer any from Josh and had a few words with Mark.

Dominque brought up him telling Megan he didn't like her at the nomination ceremony and why he said that. He said Megan said she didn't like Marines and said Megan had pretty much said something to everyone that ticked them off. He also said one night they were all hanging out talking and having fun and she came in and told them to all be quiet. So after hearing that, I guess I can see why he didn't like her if she in fact said that to him.
She asked why he isn't campaigning to stay in the house and he said there were 3 people in the house he would never campaign against and Alex was one of them. Jessica and Raven were the other 2. He also said 1 or 2 people knew about him putting Paul on the block beforehand and it wasn't Jessica. So they're trying to figure out who it is, although they don't believe Jessica didn't' know, which is unfortunate because she really didn't.

Afterwards Dominque was relieved that Cody was so cooperative, they couldn't believe how cooperative he was.

I haven't read any recent posts here. And I don't watch the feeds or read spoilers. I just wanted to say I have a feeling they might get rid of Ramses tonight.

KNEW IT!!!! ( See my post above)

Somehow Paul has been clued in on the battle back and he doesn't want Cody to battle back. That's my theory.
