While brushing his teeth!!
Did anyone else notice so many of the clips where someone is talking to him, he's brushing his teeth?
He does seem a little obsessive about his teeth brushing. I loved the scene last week with him and Paul where Paul was basically talking game with him and Cody is just brushing his teeth not talking and then finally says, you have banana in your beard, walks away and continues to brush his teeth.
Honestly, unless I hear a tape of Cody saying that, I won't believe it. He was really upset with Megan calling Jessica a racist because that could hurt their career and life outside the house. I doubt he would do that to Josh.
The show makes Cody look at lot meaner than he really is. I get After Dark on Pop (it's free so if you have that channel check it out) Anyway, yes, Cody is very stoic and can be quite emotionless, but you do see him joke around with people and laughing, something you never see on the TV show. I'm not saying he's the nicest guy in the world, but he is getting a really bad edit on the TV show because he went up again Paul. Had he not gone up against Paul, you would see the other sides of him. Now if he did say that to Josh, I really hope he is not allowed back in.
I'm with the PP. Why doesn't Jessica have to wear her frog head like the guys? It isn't fair. She definitely isn't following the rules of the game. In previous years they would come over the loudspeaker about actions like that. Why not her?
He, too, should remember he's being watched. To the viewer (who doesn't have after dark feed), he comes across as a creepy psycho the way he won't answer or talk to people. The way he treated Paul when he came in about the friendship ring was bizarre -- sitting there not saying anything may work in the military, but certainly not on a socially dependent show/game. I don't doubt that he threatened Josh because of some of the things he has said about others in the house. What he did to Megan -- telling her at nom table that he just doesn't like her -- was unnecessary. He was going by what others felt about her and not on the fact he barely knew her!
Also, has anyone else noticed how many times he changes his mind about things he has said or situations he wants to create! He'd make a great politician with all the flip-flopping he's done.
Speaking of threatening, does anyone remember the guy who pulled the knife on that girl. Boy was his removal swift!
And I remember the female player who had a meltdown a few episodes in and started refusing to go to the diary room, threw her mike and equipment in the pool and screamed at the producer to leave her alone when she announced she would be held responsible for any damaged equipment. She was gone that night! Geez, the first season was so simple and would probably be considered boring now. Remember Chicken George LOL
Chicken George!!! LOL I remember the big to do because his wife and people of the community set up phones in a central location for the town to go vote over and over again for him.
I think Cody is one of those people who doesn't think in the long-term. He does or says what he wants in the moment and doesn't consider how it might affect him later. I've never understood why an HOH would insult a player while putting them on the block. That player may very well stay in the game and now you've made a bigger enemy. It was ridiculous for Cody to say, "Megan, I just don't like you very much." As a nominated player, I would have more respect for an HOH who says, "You're a strong player. It's not personal, just strategy. Good luck in the veto comp." Even if you don't mean it, nominating a person that way will be better for you down the road.
The other thing I don't understand is why people go off the rails and blow up when someone targets them. This is an individual game. Only one person can win. Of course other people are going to target you at some point. You're standing between them and the money! Remember when Jeff and Jordan were playing for the second time? There was a woman named Shelly who said she was playing for her young daughter. Shelly was Jeff's puppet for weeks. Then one week Jeff was on the block and Shelly decided it was time to make a big move and try to vote him out. Jeff didn't get evicted and figured out that Shelly had voted for him. He was beyond angry with her, yelled at her, and belittled her. She then apologized profusely, cried, and told Jeff how sorry she was and that she would do anything he wanted until she was evicted? Why was she so sorry? All she had to say was, "Jeff, you're an excellent player, you're great at comps, and you're standing between me and the money I want to win for my daughter." Cased closed. By all means, people should be making big moves, but they should never apologize. I also think it's funny when people call out others for being disloyal. Haven't they ever watched the show? Everyone who wins has to be "disloyal" at some point. You say what you have to say at the time to stay safe. It's a game.
I remember that too. That's why they stopped having the viewers vote for evictions and left it to the houseguests. It was too easy for the public to set up phone banks and fix the vote.
Christmas has just left for the hospital for her surgery.
How does she think she can have surgery today and be prepared for HOH competition tomorrow? This is so ridiculous, she should have been removed and replaced with someone who left earlier in the game. Its not really fair to all the others.
After surgery, you are out of it for at least 24 hours. Doesn't she just want to be in her own bed recuperating?
Since they gave Christmas the option to stay, why wouldn't she?
Eventually, they will have non-physical challenges. In the meantime, even if she doesn't win HOH or veto, she is not a threat and will likely stay for some time.
