We loved the ball too! DH and I had the same thought getting a few romantic moments in the dark with our DKS in the front. No line the day we were there and the kids made us go 4 times in a row and since it was empty the CMs just let us stay on.

I'd say you are a super hot chick and kudos to you girl for losing all that weight. I notice your youngest is 5 I hear that is the magic age when moms lose the weight. I've got one more year to go.

The firm, oh boy, I have that and it is grueling! Just got an elliptical and am hoping to work up to using the firm tapes again.

Can you bring us your earlier installments of this? I jsut started reading trip reports and yours is great. :yay:

Horsegirl...keep it up with the Firm!! It is amazing!!! Sheds inches fast without a knife but just as painful.... :teeth: I also have a weight watchers scrapbook to see before and after pics here:
http://photos.yahoo.com/ph/momofmnm77/slideshow?.dir=/230d&.src=ph

I hope that link worked!! I always liked before and afters...it helped a lot with keeping my moral up!!! I have earlier installments on the board just scroll down the trip report board and look for my screename and thank you for reading!!!

disclaimer:
nothing extremely "romantic" happened while riding in the ball...no children were exposed to anything sexual or crude while riding the ball...

they were backwards for the most part...and in front of us!!! ;)

well...ok...sometimes we have to do what we have to do...I bat my baby blues and stand very tall and well...MELONS...is all I can say...
and I play stupid.

'Atta girl! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You've got me cracking up over here. Glad you decided to bump and add pics! Now I'll NEVER get to Fantasmic!!! :surfweb:

Oh, one more thing.

I was really feelin' ya on the Matthew McConaughey over Gary Sinise thing. Really I was. For like years I was. Loved me some Matthew McConaughey. That is, up until a couple of weeks ago when I heard him with my own two little ears admit to Barbara Walters that he has not worn deodorant in over 20 years.

TWENTY YEARS :confused3

Now you know how I feel about people who don't wear deodorant. Hate to say, but that was it. Ruined the fantasy for me. Over. Done.

The man's fine but he ain't THAT fine. So sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

P.S. I type all of this like it would ever even matter. You and I both know I'll never get anywhere near the man to be lucky enough to smell his B.O. anyway. :teeth:

Bravo for you losing all that weight. You must feel wonderful! You look great! :goodvibes

LOL. Great stuff and congrats on the WW thing. Heh, my kids eat Cocoa Puffs behind my back too, drives my hubby crazy also. Wonder why?

I love it! Great job; keep it coming!

deoderant shmoderant...it's over rated...I hear Gary doesn't brush his teeth or shave his back hair...what about that??? Is he STILL the man?? :lmao:

And thanks everyone for the kind words...I had a whole VERY entertaining installment typed up and then pushed some button and it was all gone!!! I tried to back up but it had disappeared!! :guilty: going to work on some today!!

Great report! I wish I could lose 35 pounds too. Hopefully someday I'll be able to start a diet and stick to it...plus there's exercising....which I hate. I always say I'd walk if I had a treadmill, but I've never had room for one. Maybe when the house is done...it we ever start. I just really HATE exercising and I find it extremly boring. ;)

I still couldn't find the first part of day 2...it's not on the other thread...so what happened? How'd you lose her DD shoes?

You're inspiring me to resurrect my unfinished trip report from our Sept. free dining trip. :teeth:

Can't wait for the next installment.... :surfweb:

:in attempts to keep this trip report organized I am going to try to remember the dates and installments but I can't promise you anything. :sunny: I just had a PM saying I was wacked and all out of order....I wish I knew how to combine EMH that Almost Wasn't Thread to this but give me a break people, I got the photo thing workin'....I can only handle so much pressure.

OK...Day Two Epcot

So where were we?? Oh yes...we were at the fountains with soakin wet kids and about 5 mins to our ADR at Teppanyaki in Japan. We are in WS next to the fountains and we are not all that hungry. I decide to use my cell phone and call the ADR number to see if I can get a later ADR. The CM all but tells me I am SOL. I have to say here that the park attendance seemed low to me this week but the restaurants were CRAZY...there were people willing to sell their first born for a chance to eat with a mouse this week. On more than one occasion I witnessed sure mayhem as the CM's were telling folks they WERE NOT seating anyone at ANYTIME without a ADR...at all...and people were mad. Guess how they are gonna feel now that ADR's are 180 days in advance? They are gonna be ticked...and unprepared. Golly gee I love the Dis!
We basically have to RUN...no not walk run really fast like Lala's dh to the RFC...but a sprint. through the WS. See how I am so unprepared for bascially everything? We have to run with a huge stroller and three kids and let me tell ya...I can kick it into gear when motivated. I used to be an Army wife and we have b*lls...or melons...take your pick. And I have a treadmill so I get a lot more running in than dh does.
We go from Canada to Japan in all about 5 mins. Seriously, we did. Are you in disbelief? I wish I had a picture but it would not have turned out very good because you can't take pics of light speed...you also can't take pics on the TeaCups while spinning without blowing chunks...trust me. I know because I tried. That was the one time in WDW that I lost it and looked like one of those FREAKY parents screaming at their child "FOR GODS SAKE HAVE FUN LITTLE JOHNNY!!! YOU BRAT...WE ARE HERE TO HAVE SOME DAMN FUN...HAVE FUN BEFORE I BEAT YOU...WHY ARE YOU CRYING AND SCREAMING?? WHERE DO YOU LEARN THIS SH###Y BEHAVIOR?" hmmmm....dunno psychomom....where DOES Johnny learn to act that way???
My family was having fun spinning the cups and I was stupid (again a running theme for me) and tried to capture it on film. Before childbirth...before college...this would not have been a problem for me. I have done worse things on the spinning Apples at the State Fair but we won' go there.
The spinning and photo taking was enough to get my tummy to turn and I start FREAKING out at my family...
"DO NOT TOUCH that spinny thing or you will go home in a body bag! Lots of kids have MAGICALLY disappeared from WDW...and this is why!" Ok NO, I really did not say that but it was close. They got the picture and this is them after the scolding of a lifetime:

100_0062.jpg

anyway back to our dinner at Teppanyaki...we get there and the line is HUGE. Now we know why the park seemed so empty, everyone is here, at Teppanyaki, waiting for food. Gotta love the long waits that free dining creates! Only in WDW do you need reservations to eat some fried chicken and fries with shakes 6 months in advance!
So we are told we have to wait. Big suprise...but Japan has some pretty cool stuff to look at while we wait.

here is the Japanese version of Black Eyed Peas because this group can shake their humps:
100_0160.jpg

100_0162.jpg

the pic above is of the Koi pond...my dh uses it as his desktop photo he likes it so much. Out of the 100000 pics of WDW he chooses the pic of the Goldfish on steroids...great!

In Japan they have that cute store that sells a lot of expensive stuff and my dd's had hardly had time to shop. They love shopping. So we stop in and my dd9 (ms fashionista) is giving me a lesson on the history of the Kimono and how it has influenced the fall line of Dolce and Gabana...and some minor influence of the spring line of Versace...and can she buy a Kate Spade bag for fall in the rich earth tones that are so flexible and versatile for todays woman....yadadyadayada...I tell ya...Vogues got nothin on this girl...see how she ties her Minnie shirt up with ribbons and lace to the side?? She even added pink lace to her denim skirt to match the Tshirt.
She also wants a pearl. I say no....but we can get a light up fan thingy for 5 bucks outside at that little stand....and she agrees....because I say I'll pay for it.

See we are on atight budget around here because, well, Mommy decided that her ultimate happiness resides in sleeping for 7 hours at the Poly, therefore all the vacation money has gone to the deluxe digs...so there is non left for toys, games, clothes, or memory card....NOPE we are at the Poly people and that is all that matters. Thank God for the FREE dining or we would be one hungry family and my kids may have been forced to beg for water. Thank God for free water at WDW...and the Cheapskates Guide to WDW for telling me so. Don't put it past ANYONE in my family to take the advice of the UOG and dig some change out of the fountains...we would do that. Only we would pretend like the 5yo "slipped" in and we would coax her to grab whatever she could from the bottom. Good Girl....were not stupid, just broke. Don't judge us, learn from us.
So our dinner at Teppanyaki...we finally get called after about an hour wait. I kid you not. We could have been to Mexico and back (golly ya gotta LOVE WS jokes, dontcha???) ;) but alas we only explored Japan.
Our dinner was just OK. Sorry, I know it is a popular place but it was lacking something....oh yeah....Iowa beef.
see here in Lil Ol Des Moines we have a Teppan place....only their beef is thick, and juicy. And the salad is with the meal and not made of seaweed. And the chefs are...funny. We were not entertained much here at this place and if your kids are normal kid food eaters they may not like the food. Our kids eat chicken...in nuggets...or on a leg bone, with fries not seaweed. Is seaweed a vegetable? Who knows...anyway the food was ok but I like our place here at home better...
I can hear the screams of many o disers out there. I am sure I have lost all reputability with professional disers. I realize those who were bantering me to write a trip report will never own up to that. That's ok. I am in my own little world and I get along very well with those that reside in it.

We leave Teppanyaki and it is dark and it is about 8 or later. All I know is we have enough time to see the potty in Germany, then it is off to catch a seat for Illuminations! Yeah, that's right. We are gettin a seat early for the show this time! We first have to stop to harass a young woman on a wheeled cart. You must find her. My dh loves anything on wheels, but the older the better...he is opposite when it comes to his women obviously! We are owners of three VW busses, one a 70's camper bus complete with owners manual and pics of kids running around in the camper while dad is four wheeling thru the mountains. DH thinks we need to try this some time. He is mistaken, our kids do not need any more damage to the brain. We also have two Carmen Ghia's (one is a black convertible) and one little white VW beetle. And no, we are not exclusive to the VW club that just happens to be the collection today...ask me tomorrow and I'll let ya know as soon as today's ebay auctions ends..
The nice woman tells him he can stand on it.... WHAT???? Is she kidding?? No apparently she lets him and I wonder if we will ever see him again. But he acts like a good boy and doesn't move (much).
The best thing about this wheely cart thing is that the nice CM is selling enough battery powered toys to light my house for a year and my kids are diggin it. HMMMM...considering I bought a sack full of light thingies from the dollar store and forgot them Back at the Poly, I agree. The next pic is an answer to my riddle:how many light up theme park toy thingies along with small girls of a seriously blonde and crazed wonam can fit into one Disney Deluxe Camper?? The answer will suprise you:
100_0165.jpg

please don't judge me... I know my kid is on top of the stroller too but in my defense she proably weighs less that some other peoples backpacks..she is very light, small and compacts easily. I know I look like crap in this pic too. It was like 95 and it was hot and I have naturally curly hair, in Florida. It sucked. I bought a CHI specifically for our trip in August so I no longer have to look like Bozo's mom with a bad perm.

I must finish this trip to Epcot today...something about kids and dentist. I just want to say Illuminations was wonderful. It was great...and we made sure we were the first family on that monorail back to the TTC...screw the guy in the ECV, I'm hot and bothered and need a bath. You don't mess with a mom and her bath, you just DON'T do it. Lesson learned. I let the guy on after me...but before my children.

So stick with me for MGM day where you will see a 40 year old man cry at a popular stage show...and you can find out how a family of five manages to MISS half the attractions at one of the smallest park in WDW.

Don't juge me, learn from me.
:cool1:

crap!! are you serious??

Long story short but not so funny...I threw the shoes away in the garbage at MK. Brand new REAL not fake cheapies...PINK Crocs...do you hate me now oh Paris Hilton of mom shoes?? It's not my fault that my dd decided she needed to try on every set of PINK plastic shoes at Tinks...and she then put her shoes in the bag I had labled "TRASH" (In my head not with a sharpie or anything...) Can you believe that?? Plus we were onsite, our first day at the MK and at WDW for that matter with no car, so this was a major wrench in my schedule...I missed Hall of Presidents due to those danged shoes and the "ohhhh mooommmy threw my new birthday crocs away" fiasco...thats what happened to the shoes.

I still owe her a pair from last year...guess we better get to the mall...THANKS for reminding me...
:lmao:

Okay, I would post a laughing smilie here but for some reason they have all morphed into tiny red Xes. So I will just say that was funny.

Honestly, I like Gary Sinise but he doesn't really rock my world either. Not with all that back hair and bad breath. Anyway, I'd have to say Mr. Banderas is more my speed. Mama Like. Or maybe Brad Pitt Pre Angelina. She's put some kind of stank on him that he just can't shake. Yikes.

ITA on the Brad thing!!

btw...if you keep reading you just might come across a pic of my dd wearing the same shirt as your dd in your pic!!! too funny!!

I will try to find one to post for ya...
dang it I knew you had good taste!!!

Okay, I'll wait for it.

BTW, that picture of your dds on the tea cups after the scolding was just TOO funny. They looked like they had definitely 'just been told' , as DH would say.

:rotfl2:

Day three MGM...or How to make a Grown Man Cry.

As usual, we get up late. Suprise. I am talkin' like 8 or 8:30 am. So by the time the five of us get up and to it it is late, as usual. But dh is ticked about the wake up calls and calls them something other than "cute" and wants me to knock off the planning (yeah because I've done a GREAT job so far!) and he wants to wake up without force...fine...what about some hanky panky, is that good for wake ups??
We love the Polynesian. It is perfect in every way, even at 320 a night a non balcony room is amazing. That smell is real! I swear it. The grounds are gorgeous...(excluding night time when walking back to Fiji from the TTC. That walk sucks. Good thing I have great personality and am a friendly girl, with melons, because some guy says to me..."I will show you to your room from here. (Meaning the TTC) which is all fine and good but I explain to him that I then must allow my children and husband to follow along). So super nice TTC guy shows us the way and we still manage to get lost.

Anyway the Poly can not be beat and that monorail access  and view of the lagoon is perfect. At night we watched Wishes from the beach and the kids would swim in the volcano pool.
So we eat our in room breakfasts and head out to MGM...only the busses at the Poly seem REALLY slow. Now, of course they seem slow to a person who has never been onsite before and whos first park encounter was accessed via boat OR monorail. How dare they expect US, the Poly people, TO WAIT for a bus. But in all seriousness we waited probably 30 mins and by then people were crowding the waiting area. My dh is nice. I am not. I am competative and I start to get irked when a throng of people who had been waiting all of 5 mins start bleeding onto MY bus. Why do people do that anyway?? Busses have a line JUST like the teacups people...and the back is WAAAY back THERE....
But I force myself and my family onto that bus and we BARELY make it behind the line. I am so close to that line I have to suck in my tummy-after-kids...and other various parts that are protruding. I feel for people with strollers on busses. Really, I do. it must suck, big time.

We get off the bus and head for the gates of MGM and I have to say I am a drama queen and LOVE any and ALL stage productions, even the ****** Monolougues. I love them all...not ******s just stage productions, and am rally looking forward to this.
Secretly I am hoping a CM in MGM management will see my superior beauty and talent in the singing and acting category and invite me to play a princess. (DO NOT LIE ladies...you know you want it too) We get another stroller and head off to RNRC and TOT because we are thrill riders, all except little chicken girl...wussy. But I refuse to be psychomom and just agree to the chicken swap idea.
RNRC is awesome, awesome, awesome, the only thing that would make it better is Jon Bon Jovi IMO because any man with lips bigger than mine scares me. I do love Aerosmith. I do!

I also LOVE how every Disney attraction throws you into a story line. It is very cool. We often say we missed so much of WDW because we did not have to wait in lines while we were there (and because of our tardiness) we often ran through the queing areas.
That take of of RNRC was awesome...that's all I can say about it. It was great!!
So we make our way to TOT...
100_0180.jpg

gee...I wonder where they get the dramatics from....case in point...
our oldest daughters like to ride TOT all while screaming in a very realistic tone "We are all gonna die!!!"
They LOVE TOT. I love TOT. We all love TOT. You must ride...even if you think you will be freaked out, who cares, go stand in the baby line and go play on the HISTK playground if you can't handle this because you don't deserve it anyway!!! :teeth: jk.
Then it is off to see BB show! I love this and have waited months to see this show and MGM is the ONE park I would not miss...honestly. well MGM and MK of course.
This is a great little show, so colorful and magical. I sing the theme song regularly at home and TRY to get dh to sing the "beast" part but he won't do it...he says he only plays "beast" in bed...
(I never said this was a G rated report people lighten up)
anyway the durn show brings the guy to tears. He is crying. Real tears. He likes to blame it on head injuries sustained in a terrible car accident in 1997, 1996, 1994 and 1992 but I know better.
100_0186Small.jpg

You can see the tears streaming down his face.

We hit Ariel, the vegas casino for preschoolers that is Playhouse Disney, The Muppets (toooo funny) must do.... and the Great Movie Ride. Loved it...even Sigourney Weavers butt in white at 30 feet wide impressed me...sorry Princess Aurora but it did!!! And once again it is one of those rides mom and dad can ride "Alone"
Speaking of riding alone, I have an idea. Knowing that there are thousands of hard up parents touring WDW every day who have not had a second alone (unless they are loaded and hire the Fairy Godmothers to babysit) but we are cheap...we don't need a babysitter...remember we have Tylenol.
I think WDW should post clear posters for moms and dads who want a little "privacy" as "MAKE OUT ATTRACTIONS" this would make such useless attractions like Figment very popular with more families, dontcha think?
I may write WDW a letter on behalf of starved parents around the world...
anyway I we are having a great time at MGM seeing nothing at this point. We walk...we stop and get tatoos...get some piercings...not really but tatoos yes...and realize our ADR for SCI FI is almost upon us. Only we haven't SEEN half of the park at this point and it is value season and the park closes in three hours and there is only ONE LMA show the whole day and it happens to be right before our ADR...not to mention Indiana's show...missed that too. Millionaire, yep missed. One Mans Dream was not our reality. And so it goes...

we went to Sci fi where we waited some more for food we were not hungry for and that was served in GINORMOUS proportions....notice at this point we have had only about 4 meals our whole trip. That's not because I am leaving them out, it's because we hardly have time to eat and we do not like to eat all that much. We'd rather be scaring the beejeezus out of some poor kid on TOT....or spending prime touring time baking in the hot sun while playing on the HISTK playground area.
(and I call myself a Disser...ya'll otta be ashamed of me...because my touring plans suck)
we are sooo screwed in August aren't we???
Sci Fi was fun for about the first hour then it got old. The movies are on a loop so get out as fast as you can or you'll be in rerun hell. Some of you are thinking "what a stupid blonde, does she not realize they are already RERUNS??" ok ok...your right....

100_0210.jpg

the food was good and the server was delightful. We all got Sci Fi drivers liscense and then were on our way to the big metal seating arena from hell known as "Fantasmic"

and you ain't seen nothin yet...it gets better....stay tuned.

Yay! Give us more!!! :woohoo:

BTW, I love all your blonde moments. :lmao: I understand that. I'm was a blonde before my sister became a hairdresser.
