Best Souveniers

I always buy a Christmas decoration. Whenever I go on holiday it is something I have to buy. It's great unwrapping the decorations and putting them on the tree remembering where I was when I bought it.

We have been buying DIsney ornaments (Donald and Daisy ones for us..we'll be moving on to other couples this year unless they have a new Daisy and Donald one) and the kids get to pick their own as well. My husband also likes to get pins.

We also each get a t-shirt. This year I will be getting magnet and picture frames as well.

Like some have mentioned, I like to magnet pads, the fridge magnets. I buy pens to use at work, calendar to hang at work and window decals for my car. Also, we buy a new ornament every year too for the Christmas Tree. My favorite souvenier (sp?) was when my dh and I went on an adults only trip for our 10th anniversary and we bought watches. I have a gold Skagen watch with a profile of Mickey's head on it ($125). I wear it everyday and I can dress it up or down. Dh bought one of the solar watches (it has a name, but can't think of it) I think it is by Citizen (believe it was $250). We also are into buy poster art and bringing it home and getting it framed to hang in the house. I also collect the Disney Lenox, but don't buy it at Disney because dh works for Lenox and I get it at bargain prices through his work here at home. My favorite piece has to be the Dumbo Lenox figurine - too cute!

my hubby would say the best souvenier he got was a pewter (sp??) Darth Vadar head key chain. Man, the thing is so heavy!! I love getting magnets and also mugs!!

Lucky you! :Pinkbounc I love Disney Lenox, but have to wait for sales.

Oh gosh, I love the car antenea thingies. You know, the cute mouse ears you put on car antena's (sp??, sorry it's early.) We also love the diaries and stuffed animals. =)

I have one of the silver charm bracelets and I get a new charm every year that I go it's so pretty and I only wear it on special occasions!

my fave is a statue of mickey dressed as sorcerer (my fave costume) and he is holding a little globe in his hands. inside the globe are mini replicas of all major disney things - spaceship earth, tree of life, fanstasia hat, cinderella's castle, dumbo, tink, etc. it's like a mini snow globe he is holding and there is some glitter in there too. along the bottom it says something like where the magic happens. every time i see it, i think of all the parks and disney. i love it!!!! :goodvibes

I have that one and I LOVE it. I collect snowglobes (among many other things) and this is one of my favorite pieces.

I like getting charms and the antenna toppers too. I wear my charm bracelet all the time and the antenna toppers are in a vase on my coffee table (like a bouquet of flowers).

Last year I bought a Minnie visor and some T-Shirts. I love things that I can wear and remind me of my vacation.

I love my Hollywood Tower hotel slippers! this year I think i'm going to splurge on the robe. It's something I use every day and makes me smile every time.

And my pins of course, I collect pins I'm going to wear. Some times I'll have a Rafiki day, others a Clarabella Cow. sometimes I'm Grumpy or Dopey...

Oh, and my Chip & Dale watch. I never used to wear a watch but this one is very small and I love it!!

I bought the HTH robe last April. It's great! Like you and your slippers, I use it every day, and it makes me smile too! It may seem a bit $$$, but it's a very thick spa-type robe, and the price is comparable to similar robes sold by Lands End.

I also have a Mickey watch that I love and wear all the time, and foam beverage "coolies" from OKW.

:rolleyes1 Last trip was DH, DD (3) and myself. Arrived August 25,2002 and DD (now 2) was born May 23, 2003 two days early . As soon as I found out I KNEW she was a little souvenier. Not only the best, but also the most expensive!

After her, I would say magnets, the WDW photo albums with the castle on the frint, t shirts, the refillable mugs and the popcorn buckets. We really use the mugs and the buckets alot!

Some of my favorites from my last year's trip:

My Mickey head Swarovski Cyrstal earings I bought in Germany at WS.
Tinkerbell Magnet - Kept at work
Tinkerbell watch

Past trips-
My running Donald magnet (got when I did the Diseny 1/2 marathon)
All my snow globes, but my favorite is the Pirate ship for Peter Pan.
4 magnet heads -Mickey, Minnie, Donald, & Goofey.
Donald Mug- Use at work
Black Mickey Mouse leather portfolio for writing with Mickey paper.
Mickey Pen
