Any ideas? There are 8 of us heading there in 2 weeks and I was wondering.

I know AAA offers a few dollars off, but any other secrets I should know about?

We bought season tickets to Dollywood Splash Country on Friday for $81 per adult and $68 per child plus for every 3 tickets you purchased you got and extra $10 off. Not a bad deal, but the deal was supposed to end Friday. I just looked and they are still offering the season passes at $81 and $68 until March 13th, but not the extra $10 off for every 3 tickets. Are you looking at going more than one day? If so the season tickets are the way to go.

ETA - I just noticed you are going in 2 weeks and it won't be open yet.

Historically Dollywood/Splash Country does not give any major discounts. They generally have a $4, I think, discount on a fast food resturant drink cup, think last year it was Wendy's. You can purchase a season pass for a little less than two days in the park, and in the summer they have a 3 day pass type ticket that allows you to go to both Dollywood and Splash Country. They have also in the past done an arrive after 3pm and the next day is free. We have season passes as we are close and go multiple times a year to each, but I do remember before we got the passes thinking that discounts were not easy to find. Oh, and in the past they have done a promotion with a local grocery store on purchasing season passes and saving a few $. I think Food City, but maybe its Kroger or Ingles. We get our passes from hubby's work.

It does not open until March 26th.

Well thank GOD I asked here first. You guys are great! I just imagined the scene from National Lampoons Vacation pulling up to a closed Wally World! :rotfl:

P.S. There was a guy selling them on craigslist in TN for $40 each.... If anyone is interested that will be going there AFTER it opens!

Well, if you do get to go when it opens :) check the Dollywood website. I had a really hard time finding discounts last year, but they did run a promo where you got a free meal there. We could choose an all-you-can-eat buffet, so we had a midday meal around 2:30 which covered us for the whole day (we just got snacks otherwise). It was a better deal to get the free meal than to use the fast food discount.

And, if you go to dollywood, you can get in the night before for free. Makes it a better deal. :)
