We met Gaston at DL. He said "Gaston does not give autographs because I do not know how to spell my name." He paid little attention to DS because he was busy arguing with an adorable 4 yr old little girl. She told him Belle didn't love him. He insisted he would marry Belle and she did love him. Did not. Did too. Etc. Hilarious!

AHHHH! We have been following along to see if you mention the two crazy ladies that pounced on you after your Gaston meet! (And yes, it's Amber and Jess!) Unfortunately, we are such lurkers that I don't know how to quote your post or add a profile pic or anything. True story though, me and my cousin were just hanging out around the fountain, looking around to see if Gaston was out. When we spotted him, we got super excited, but when we realized who was at that very moment meeting Gaston, we totally nerded out! Y'all, Su-Lynn is soooo sweet and so beautiful, and it was so kind of her to take time out of her busy day to chat with us for a bit! We totally felt like we met a Disney celeb!

As over the moon excited as I know I'll be upon entering my first AP line, I know I'd happily sacrifice all the glory to, um... just get into the park quicker!

Gaston was hilarious, I do think his line is worth the wait because you will be entertained just watching him while on line.

This!! I saw this happen on a couple of our last trips too, and I couldn't believe people would wait in a longer line just for the AP entrance. The point of it is supposed to be to skip a longer line. You'd never go to the 1-10 items line at the grocery store if it was long and the other cashiers had no line! Maybe people think their APs won't work in a regular turnstile or something? No idea.

I think if you have an AP you should know better than to wait in a longer line just because it says AP. Those people don't deserve APs! Give them...to ME instead!!!

LOL I'm a D-listed celebrity. D for Disney that is, hahaha. Corny jokes aside, I thought it was really nice of them to come up and say hi and it was fun to meet other DISboarders whom I havenot official "met" online yet, hehe.

I really liked the LeFou's Brew on our last trip, I wasn't overly thrilled with that foam but the drink itself was good

I love everything about the Lefou's brew. I dont' really taste the foam that much though especially when drunk with a straw.

I have never kept a phone case this long, ever. This one has made it over a year, which is pretty incredible for me. It's getting kind of loose on my phone, and I find myself playing with it all the time, slipping it off and on at the corner and it hits the switch and turns my phone on silent 99% of the time, so I miss calls and texts pretty regularly, LOL!

It's such a cute phone case!!! Really, I love anything that Maruyama does. I really want his Kingdom of Cute Vinylmations but they are sold out everywhere. Hopefully I will get my hands on some in August.

I noticed this too...I think I only got to use the fancy schmancy AP entrance once because the regular lines were all shorter!

HAHAHA that is hilarious! I LOVE all his exchanges, and I also love how nice he is to little girls. The funny thing is they all seem to love him, despite what they have seen in the movie, LOL.

Thanks! It was lots of fun! He's right by Gaston's Tavern near the bathrooms, and he always has a long line before his meet n greet. We just happened to be lucky to be first on line for the next one! Still had to wait about 15 mins though, maybe a little longer as that Gaston, always fashionably late!

We've never met him before due to his long lines but we've always watched his interactions with much amusement.

Same with us. I really want to meet him and I've wanted the boys to meet him with me, I think it'd be hysterical, but we always get there when his line is crazy long. I need your perfect timing.

Our server brought us coffees and juices and took our order. Our breakfast started with a platter of pastries. I love how it's served in a mini cast iron frying pan, a la Rapunzel. The theme of these desserts are really clever. The sun cookie was a crisp puff pastry cookie, and there was a pastry resembling a clamshell/oyster complete with a pearl. Loved the theme of these, and they tasted pretty good, better than what you'd get at Be Our Guest.

Love these and the frying pan. Glad to see they didn't just plunk the characters into a random restaurant and spent the time to focus on the little things.

Our first guests arrived! The characters meet each table separately and not as a couple, although now and then they would do a little dance and interact. Flynn Rider was very charming and very nice although not the best smolder I've seen. I actually think he'd make a better Star Lord than our Star Lord the night before. I totally forgot to ask to peek inside his satchel though!

Ok 1, totally naughty on the satchel peeking, but 2 your smolder is better than his. Maybe Star Lord got lost on his way to MGM that morning???

After our Bon Voyage breakfast, we changed, headed out of the Boardwalk and hopped onto a bus for Magic Kingdom. When we arrived we saw the AP line was insanely long, whereas every other line was shorter. It somehow astounded me that people would continue to wait in the AP line when they could just go on a much shorter regular line. #confused

But, we were not one of those people and got on a shorter line to enter the park. It still befuddles me to this day.

Maybe it was longer than normal since it was saturday and more locals show up??? Regardless, we saw this a few times on our last trip and I never got it. Its like people want the "specialness" of the AP entrance regardless if it takes longer or not.

After Mine Train we headed over to meet Steve's man-crush...GASTON! Steve never mentions a favorite character so it astounded me when he requested a Gaston shirt for the Princess 5k. And now he owns about 5 of them.

Literally everything that came out of his mouth was hilarious. Of course it being 3 months later, I don't remember everything he said, but I knew it was funny (hence my expression above). I wish I took video but I was just kinda too distracted.

I was stunned and also really touched by their kindness and sweet gesture. We spent a bit of time chatting with them, and I told them I really really really appreciate them reading my reports and for coming up and saying hi. It really meant the world to me and made my day extra special.

#guilty as charged. But my friend Betsy DID peek into his satchel, and it does hold the crown...I wished I thought of that but sometimes I blank out when I am face to face with characters, haha.
Perhaps he also is one of the Star Lord as I've seen many of the over the past few months, probably on a trial basis until they find "the one" hahaha.
