Best Character Buffet "All You Can Eat" Breakfast

Tusker House is our favorite. :goodvibes Absolutely love it! We have been our past 2 trips and it was one of the first things we booked for Aug.

Do I have to utilize a park admission if I have breakfast reservations? If so my choices will be limited to the resorts (Cape May, Tuskers, 1900Park, Chef Mickeys), since I won't have hoppers. No one has mentioned 1900 Park Fare, how is that one?

Tusker House is inside the AK....and yes you would need park admission.

We went to 1900PF last year for breakfast. I have no real complaints. The food was good as was the service. The characters were really fun but it did take a while for them to make it over to us. The only thing that was a bit of a downer was the room itself. There really didn't seem to be any atmosphere at all. We were seated just inside the door after you enter and as far as I could see there wasn't anything in the other room where the buffet is.

We have been to all the character meals at the resorts and our favourite is Cape May. We like everything about it...the food...the service...the atmosphere....character interaction. In general there is a very laid back, relaxed feeling. Our next favourite is Ohana.

What with all this Tusker House talk? Uneventful, mediocre food, and lacking in selection. I'd pick the Crystal Palace over there every time.

No ? Chef Mickey's this is the best Disney feeling resturant. Good food & fun.:worship::thumbsup2:worship::thumbsup2:worship::thumbsup2:worship:

We loved Tusker House and Crystal Palace .. however if you don't want to go into a park I would recommend Cape May or Ohana's :)

Tusker House for me! I love the Jamba Juice that is offered there. Character interactions was one of the best.

Worst so far for me has been Cape May. We had poor character interaction and a really bad server.

We like a lot of the character breakfasts, but our all time favorites are Cape May Cafe at the BC and Akershus at Norway. These two are must dos for us each trip. We always do Akershus the first full day of our trip before the park opens (like to get an 8:05am ADR if possible). The food there is outstanding (love love love the cheesy potatoes ) and the princess interaction is one of the best. Plus the picture that you take with Belle before you are seated is included with the package (big plus in our books). One other thing that we love about Akershus is that the hot food is served to you (all you can eat too), plus they have a cold bar with pastries, meats, cheeses, and fruit. As for Cape May, the variety of the food is awesome plus it is always hot and fresh, the character interaction is awesome (we have a Minnie fan in our family and the attention that Minnie gives her when my DD tells Minnie, is priceless....and it never fails), the service is outstanding and always quick, plus it is a hop skip and jump from Epcot so we always go very early in the morning so we are done right before rope drop.

Characters at each of the breakfasts include:
Cape May--Minnie, Donald, Goofy all in their swimwear
Akershus--Belle as a greeter, then 4 princesses come around to the table...these are always subject to change but the last 2 times we were there we saw Cinderella, Aeriel, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty. In the past we have also seen Mulan and Jasmine there.

Our favorite is Ohanas....Love the characters, love POLY, and the juice is sooo good. The food is family style and brought to your table, so no getting up and running around. They also bring this raisin glazed coffee cake, it is so good! Does anyone know the exact name for it? All the characters are in Hawaiina outfits, and above all the kids get to do a dance following the characters around the whole restaurant with maracas. WHen you are done it is a monorail ride to the Magic Kingdom.:wizard:

Garden Grill Heck I would eat there if there wasn't characters. It isn't a buffet but it is all you can eat. Love the food there. Love the blueberry buckle we had there last year. Now I'm hungry.LOL

Oh yeah this one is great also. Love the juice and the bread.

We've eaten breakfast at Ohana, CM, Cape May, 1900 Park Fare, Donald's Breakfastosaurus in AK (No longer offered), and Playhouse Disney in DHS.

Of these, I liked 1900 Park Fare the most for food and CM for atmosphere. My wife liked Cape May for food because of the lox for breakfast, and my son prefers CM period.

Liberty Tree Tavern. I never thought I would like the Crystal Palace to be closed on my trips but that's what it takes for LTT to do the character meals.

The food is great and served to your table so you don't need to get up. I also like that the dining rooms are semi seperate so it's a little more personal when the characters get to your table.

This was my favorite character breakfast during our last trip in January :thumbsup2
