Awwww....thanks! I do worry about what I am going to do at Disney. I was at the doctor yesterday and I have an infection now. I have to back tonight to get re-checked to see if the anti-biotics are helping or if I have to go back to the hosptial and I am trying really hard not to freak out.
Deep breath.
But if you see me sitting on a bench by myself at Disney come join me. We can keep each other company!

I went to Dr. Scalpelhappy today and he wants to do another surgery. I told him he had to wait until I get back. I leave for home on the 22nd, will be home by the 23rd, have an appt. on the 24th, and he usually cuts me up the day after. So I have something to look forward to when I come back from my trip.

Actually, I have a pill form of morphine, but I really try not to take it. Its called dilaudid. It works much better through IV, and they tell me its like 6 or 7 times stronger than morphine. But it makes me

When we went to the Dr. The first thing they did was run a strep test. Well we consider ourselves somewhat as experts of Strep throat. Ds5 has had it over 27 times that I can remember and have the notes on!!! I can usually tell he's got it, they'll run the test and half the time it is negative and then 3 days later it shows positive on the culture.
So they run the test, the Dr comes in and says it's neg. It's probably just a reaction from the chicken pox booster, you know how his immune system does......Blah, blah blah..... and then she says the 1st time he got the chiken pox shot he did ffine didn't he? "Yes ma'am"
So she looks at his throat and say WHOA!!!Calls the RN in training and says LOOK!! He goes
and she says we are treating it as strep BUT watch it very carefully. To make a LOOOOONG story short, they think it was caused by the chicken pox booster. They think his immune system went COO-COO. As it is known to do and it came out in the form of strep.. .....We hope. If not then it could be some type of internal chicken pox or other wierd virus thing.
So now see why I hope it's just strep??????

It was the girls' first day back at school and I had to go pick them up!

They are happy to be back but I was so sad today. I miss having them around. My plan was always to homeschool them but I had to finally come to the realization that I'd be really bad at it. So off to school they go.
They are so sweet! Yes we homeschool-- for 15 years now! DS(20) went to kindergarten for about 5 months--kept getting---you guessed it--strep--Dr said he was getting it from someone who was a carrier in his class-- I am sending good thoughts and a little that everything will be

DS is taking the meds well.. I started him tonight on singulair...in granule form.
I put it on tops of mashed bananas...he was able to see it, and thought it was sugar.....LOL...It is tasteless, and he made a face..he so strange
Took him to pediatrician for his check up and he was the best he has ever been at the drs and was so happy and full of life. She said he is100% bette

DDad..My sil was at Disney and before she left the resort, she booked her trip for next Sept for Free dining.
So, if they say they don't know what you are talking about, asked to speak to someone else or make them get on the phone with reservations line.
Her papers, too, were in her check out papers....(she was staying at Coronado Springs).
That is a shame about the person that was not able to find someone to help her...
