Been There, Done That and ThenSome:Timandlesley Do Disneyfor18days!11/2 TR IS UP!pg79

I had x's yesterday when I went to view your trip report, so I logged out, shut my computer down, brought it back up and I was able to see them.\

Hope this helps:thumbsup2
Thanks for the info, hopefully that will help her out : )

What a great update!! We love doing the early breakfast at CP also. LOVE the pic of Tim & Luke. It brought tears to my eyes. Splash is my favorite also. Such a happy ride. Tim is hilarious entertaining you while in line. Lauren looks so adorable meeting the fairies. That is great that they take time with all the kids. What a great day you had. Does look very hot though! I would have been beet red in the face & probably passed out :lmao: I used to love the heat-the hotter the better but as I am getting older the heat bothers me more. I guess I had better stick to going in April or May. Would love to try to go in Oct some year. Cannot wait for the next installment.
So glad you enjoyed hte update - I know, I just love that pic of tim and Luke too- so sweet! yes, we did have a great day but it was SUPER hot, passing out could have certainly happened : ) I can't wait to go in October and experience Disney without sweating profusely : )
WOW! You packed a lot in that day! Looks like fun...love the waking up Tink! I would like to try that one! That heat is a tough one to get through sometimes. We were there over July 4th one time and DH says never again!! LOL Too hot for us Northerners!
Yes, we certainly did pack a lot in that day. Yes, definitely try to wake up Tink it is super fun!
:thumbsup2 Great update! I have that same photo of my kids in front of CP with the castle in the back ground. pixiedust: Priceless shot!

I kinda like the new way that Tink gets woken up. This way more children can participate! :woohoo:

One of these days I will get to Sci-Fi. I missed it last trip due my pre-teen lovebug giving me mad attitude. We stayed back and chilled in the Villa while the others enjoyed MGM and Sci-Fi. ;)
Yeah, Sci fi is fun WHEN you get a good waitress

Oh my goodness. I'm dying laughing from this post. You guys sound like you were having an amazing time! Tink's interaction was so adorable. :lovestruc And Tim in the giftshop waiting for Aladdin and Jasmine was so hilarious. :lmao: Can't wait to hear more!
Glad we could make you laugh : ) Thanks for reading/posting
Lesley
This is making me NUTS:headache: not being able to
view the pics. I can see them all up and through the
tink pics and then those stupid x's:mad::mad::mad:
I posted on the tech board about it...I hope I get
an answer!!!!
I'm so sorry, how frustrating, did you see the post above about how she did it and then it went away, so sorry!!!
Lesley

Jumping on board! What a great start to your trip. The pictures of Luke and Tim in front of the castle are great! I am also glad you were enjoying AKL so much...it is such a great resort. I also thought the Dut and Pluto meeting was wicked funny. Can't wait to read more about your trip!
Yeah, welcome aboard! Glad you are enjoying things so far. Yes, AKL is just amazing, can't wait to go back! I'll tell luke you liked his antics : )
Enjoying your TR. Tim's comment about "celebrating no kids at the table " was great. Too funny :rotfl: I also loved Luke's pic of the stuffed doggies. I have two boys so I was thinking that's how dogs shake hands.

The pics and video with the fairies was great ... really neat encounter.

I liked your comparison of AKL and WL. I have stayed at WL would definitely like to try AKL now.
Glad you are enjoying things, yeah that "no kids at the table" cracked me up too! Yes, if you get an opportunity definitely give AKL a try.
Lesley
Jumping into this report! :goodvibes Fantastic TR so far (although all of yours have been great)! I love that your family is always laughing and smiling together......you all really look like you have such a great time together! :thumbsup2 Can't wait for more...
Welcome to the report, glad you are enjoying it so far. Yes, we do really try and have fun togtether, that's what being a family is all about!
lesley

Tim didn't want me to post this because of the red words going accross this. He was trying out a new shrinking software and for some reason the trial words won't go away but I wanted you guys to see it. So just ignore the red words. Lauren's face is precious as she's looking around for Tink- ENJOY! Just click on the picture below:

Lesley

nope, still can't see numerous pics!!:headache:
The last one I can see is luke and lauren in
those spayers, every pic after that is an x.
I posted tech support, hopefully they can
help. If everyone else is seeing them, it could
be an issue with my computer. RATS!!!

AWWWWW! That video is awesome!! You are right, Lauren's reaction is priceless!! That CM was GREAT with the kids!:goodvibes

1Awww, great cm and Lauren is just so cute!! she looked just a tad bit awestruck!:goodvibes

Ok Where to start! Finally got a chance to read you trippie so far!!!!:cool1:

And so far FANTASTIC!!:thumbsup2

Ok so AKL looks absolultely AMAZING and I really hope we can get a chance to stay there some day! Its so lovely you managed to have some great Dis Meets too. How cute were the mini Tyson and Shae's??:goodvibes

I can't believe that waitress was soo rude at Sci-Fi Diner! Not nice at all and not very Disney is it?! Never mind you didn't look like it let it bother you!

Luke and Lauren look as adorable as ever in your pictures, My eldest Kieran has that same Red Mickey T-shirt as Luke too!

Crystal Palace is lovely for breakfast isn't it? We did that on our first morning and we absolutely LOVED it- although we were slightly stressed as our youngest Aaron was quite ill on that trip and we were running late so no early morning castle pics unfortunately!

The video clips are fantastic I'm just so glad I finally have a working Laptop to be able to watch them! My youngest is sat here watching them with me and loves seeing all the characters and is shouting "Piglet Dancing" soo cute!

In fact its really early here in Scotland and we have been watching The Big Piglet Movie and I soo wish I had my Camcorder to share Aaron singing along with the songs but the battery is dead!:sad2:

The picture of Tim and Luke beside the Walt and Mickey Statue is adorable as well - super cute!

We have the same taste in footwear as well!! I love my croc cleos and adaras - I practically LIVE in them!

How cute was Tink! Bless little Lauren she did seem very nervous - but I think I would be too!;)

I'd love to meet Tink but unfortunately in a family of all boys I don't think they would wait with me!:rotfl:

What a lovely way to end your evening in Epcot - its one of my favourite places too. I can't wait to be able to try lots of restaurants next year as we have the Deluxe dining plan and Teppan Edo is one of my list "to do"!

Ok think i've went on enough! Can't wait for the next installment!

:rotfl:Oh, I know about how old Mary Poppins is supposed to be! I just figured they can slap enough makeup on me and you wouldn't see all my wrinkles!!!

O.K, we can duke it out : ) Mary Poppins is much younger, I'd put her late twenties, early thirties based on the ones we saw. The AKL transportation was great.
Lesley

Finally caught up! The videos are great! Tim's comments are hilarious. I loved the part about "taping other people's kids."
Can't wait for the next installment!

Ok, I'm weak today...that video of the kiddies waking up Tink through me over the edge, good thing Jasmine's at work she would have been pointing and laughing. There is something about the look on Lauren's face that brought me back to Jasmine on our first trip and left me wondering where has the time gone:sad1:

Ok, moment over....I think I'm good now. Thanks for providing entertainment while I enjoy my morning coffee, my fav part of the day:lovestruc

I loved the video. Lauren was adorable looking around for Tink!! That is so cute how they do that. Only in Disney can you have magic like that. :thumbsup2

loving it!!!! Is this your first year with out the stroller? How did they do if so? I was done with the whole stroller thing for the most part with Emma but not have to start over again with the babies now! Our next trip I am going to try eating in Japan for sure!

Thank You for taking the time to share your trip with us. The work and time that goes into the reports is greatly appriciated.
Thanks Again :goodvibes

Glad you enjoyed it, yes the CM was wonderful!

The Tinkerbell video was great. I am glad everyone gets a share of the pixie dust now.
Glad you enjoyed it, wasn't it cool how she called it dust from the pirate ship for Luke- she was so sweet!

1Awww, great cm and Lauren is just so cute!! she looked just a tad bit awestruck!:goodvibes
Glad you enjoyed it.

Yeah, glad you are caught up because I'm about to post our next day!

Day 3 June 23rd
So when I left you Lauren was drinking out of her fancy glasses before bed. One thing I failed to mentioned was that (I know I’m going to get a reaction here) after our long hot day we decided the next morning to change our 8:00 Tusker House Reservation. Getting up that early to grab a bus to AK just didn’t appeal to us- remember we were going to be there 18 days, had other character meals scheduled- so we cancelled it. What was awesome about this trip was the online booking system, so when Tim and I decided at 10:15 we didn’t want our 8:05 Tusker House ressie for the next day we were able to get online and cancel it. So when the alarm went off at 7:30 (which, had we kept our reservation we would have had to be on a bus at 7:30) NO ONE BUDGED. I got up and looked outside and it was thundering and raining so I let everyone sleep Eventually everyone got up around 8:30, we got dressed and headed down to Mara (AKL’s food court) for breakfast.
001640x480.jpg

What an EXCELLENT food court. It has tons of breakfast options, the lines are never long and the staff is always so nice. Tons of seating – we never had problems finding a table. I just loved this counterservice option – it was wonderful! This particular morning Tim and I seated the kids at the table by the t.v. showing kids programming and we headed to the lines to get the food for the family. When we came back (about 5 minutes later) Lauren was crying because she couldn’t see us in line- we calmed her down and ate our food. As we were wrapping up a lady came up and told us “he was a GREAT big brother calming her down when she was upset” so we were very proud of Luke (and Luke was proud of himself too).
On with our day – we got to Animal Kingdom at 9:30
003640x480.jpg

The gates were very crowded and it took a while to get inside the park. Here were the crowds as we entered the park:
004640x480.jpg

Tim and Luke headed to Expedition Everest to grab Fast Passes for us and Lauren and I headed to Triceretop Swirl (no line, no wait):
005640x480.jpg

006640x480.jpg

007640x480.jpg

I got a cell phone call from Tim telling me there was only a 10 minute stand by line for Expedition Everest so he and Luke were riding it after they scored us the fast passes. Lauren and I headed over to the Boneyard Playground since we had never played there before.
009640x480.jpg

We got there around 9:55 and it didn’t open until 10:00 so we waited with two other families for them to open the gate. It was another insanely hot day. I had put some bottles of water in the freezer the night before and Lauren and I both stood there holding them on our necks and rubbing the frozen bottles on our arms to keep us cool as we stood in line- soooooo hot! (and it was only 10:00). The gates opened and Lauren ran off to play:
010640x480.jpg

011640x480.jpg

I found a rock in the shade and THIS became my best friend:
012640x480.jpg

It was aimed right for me and I was loving the breeze and relief it gave me. With the fan blowing on me and the frozen water bottle in my hand I was SET!
This playground really was a lot of fun. There were lots of interactive things, like dinosaur paw prints on the ground and when you step on them there are very loud dinosaur GROWLS, here is Lauren discovering them:
013640x480.jpg

017640x480.jpg

Then I got a call from Tim and Luke who were looking for us, I told them where we were and they found us:
015640x480.jpg

We hung out a little longer to let Luke play there too (Tim took a seat with me and my fan friend and I handed him a frozen water bottle to hold too).
We started talking about the Dinosaur ride, I knew Lauren wouldn’t ride it (and I wasn’t going to force it) and Luke for some reason wanted to pass, so Tim went off to ride Dinosaur by himself (of course after joking with Luke about selling him out) I stayed in the Boneyard a little longer with the kids.
Luke had fun exploring:
016640x480.jpg

Here are both of the kids at the Boneyard:
019640x480.jpg

We left the Boneyard and met up with Tim in the Dinosaur gift shop, just in time to see his ride photo.
Then we headed to see Nemo
020640x480.jpg

That was my goal of the day, I had to see that Nemo show after all the great things I had heard about it. We got there about 40 minutes before it started. Here are my less than enthused children about having to sit in the heat for 40 minutes for this show to begin:
022640x480.jpg

Look at my sweet Lauren trying to smile for her mommy in that picture : )
The line started to move about 15 minutes prior to showtime:
023640x480.jpg

As the line moved we spied a big turtle in the water, can you see him?
024640x480.jpg

We ended up with great seats (that I highly recommend). Just by luck we ended up in the first row in the upper section in the center(there are two sections, lower and upper). So we got to see tons of action when the performers would roam around they would be RIGHT in front of us – it was great!
This show was BEYOND AMAZING! It gave me chills, it was seriously like a Broadway musical. The talent of the actors and actresses is amazing, you HAVE to see this show if you haven’t already. The kids, Tim and I were on the edge of our seats the whole time. Here are some of the pictures I took of it:
026640x480.jpg

027640x480.jpg

028640x480.jpg

Mr. Ray!!! (he was SOOOO cool!)
029640x480.jpg

Nemo’s gonna touch the butt : )
030640x480.jpg

Dory and Merlin right in front of us:

Fish are friends, NOT food!
034640x480.jpg

Then came the aquarium scene, AMAZING!
036640x480.jpg

Crush, COOL DUDE!
040640x480.jpg

The guy who sang/was Crush was SO amazing!
041640x480.jpg

So the show was over and we exited and headed over to Expedition Everest to use our Fast Passes, Lauren’s FIRST TIME on Evereset (she was so excited):
044640x480.jpg

Luke and I rode together, and in honor of Lauren’s first ride she and Tim waited for the front car. Tim took these pictures on their ride:
046640x480.jpg

048640x480.jpg

UH OH, the track is out!
050640x480.jpg

YETI!!!!
051640x480.jpg

What a great ride! Lauren loved it, but in her ride photo she looked so terrified:
053640x480.jpg

(you probably can’t see it, but I wanted to throw it in there.
Then we headed to Yak and Yeti for our lunch reservation. It was so packed in there. Everyone was shoulder to shoulder waiting to be called trying to soak up the air conditioning. Tim and I stood in the corner by this guy:
054640x480.jpg

I got my phone out and realized I had 2 missed texts from Diane. This was AMAZING Fast Pass Wonderfullness (yes, I just made up that word). We had planned on riding Kali River Rapids before we exited the park after lunch because it was SUCH A HOT DAY! Well, the text from Diane (dddisrunner) was “I put 4 fast passes for Kali in your stroller”- SHE ROCKS!!! She had read my facebook update that we were in Nemo and put them in our stroller as they were walking by. We were so excited because now that meant Kali with no wait for us after lunch – THANK YOU DIANE!!! It was so amazing!
Here is Lauren inside of Yak and Yeti enjoying the air conditioning and ready for some good eats:
055640x480.jpg

We were seated upstairs with a great people watching view:
057640x480.jpg

Tim started his meal off with a nice cocktail:
058640x480.jpg

We ordered pot stickers for appetizers, they are AWESOME here!
059640x480.jpg

I had the salmon for my entrée, YUM YUM YUMMY!!!!!
060640x480.jpg

Tim ordered the ribs and said they were good:
061640x480.jpg

The kids had limited options here but were happy to see chicken fingers were on the menu (the other options were Chinese food options like chicken fried rice, egg rolls, etc.) so they both had chicken fingers.
For desert we ordered a gigantic hot fudge brownie sundae. Tim and I had a few bites and handed it over to the kids. This picture cracks me up (do you THINK they enjoyed it?!?)
064640x480.jpg

After our bellies were full from a delicious meal we headed back out into the extreme heat to find the Fast Passes that Diane had so generously put into our stroller:
066640x480.jpg

We headed over to Kali and saw that there was a 100 min. wait time:
065640x480.jpg

Again, THANK YOU to Diane and her family for this incredible hook up!
So we were off to get soaked:
067640x480.jpg

I snapped this one right before I had to put the camera away, it cracks me up how Luke is looking at Tim:
068640x480.jpg

Well, the ride was great and we got wet but not as soaked as we would have liked, so Luke took it upon himself after the ride:
070640x480.jpg

Then we headed to the gate. Look at this HUGE anteater we saw on the way out:
072640x480.jpg

That walk from the gate to the bus was so unrelenting, it was so stinkin’ hot that day. Here are the kids zoning on the bus when we got there:
