Been There, Done That and ThenSome:Timandlesley Do Disneyfor18days!11/2 TR IS UP!pg79

The guy who sang/was Crush was SO amazing!

I'm glad you got a good Crush... he makes or breaks the show for me!!

Lauren’s FIRST TIME on Evereset (she was so excited):
:banana:Hooray! Your whole family can ride Everest now!

Well, the text from Diane (dddisrunner) was “I put 4 fast passes for Kali in your stroller”- SHE ROCKS!!! She had read my facebook update that we were in Nemo and put them in our stroller as they were walking by. We were so excited because now that meant Kali with no wait for us after lunch – THANK YOU DIANE!!! It was so amazing!

That.... is incredible! Diane should win some kind of DIS-Friend-award or something! What a GREAT idea!!

We ordered pot stickers for appetizers, they are AWESOME here!
059640x480.jpg
Those look scrumptious!!

Here are the kids zoning on the bus when we got there:
074640x480.jpg
She looks soaked!!

“I know who you are!?!” and I said “you do?” and he said “YEAH, You’re timandlesley from Disboards”.

You DO realize that you and your family are true DIS Celebrities, right?!!

Sorry we were so skuzzy when we ran into you
I'm sure they didn't mind. When it's that hot, the whole world is skuzzy!!

Here we are all cleaned up and ready for a nice meal out together

Hooray for a spontaneous date night!! Woo hoo!!

Sounds and looks like you guys had an amazing night... and guilt free, too!

I feel like I'm right there with you when I read your report! Le Cellier is our favorite restaurant too, well one of our favs, so hard to pick;) Last time we were there the young man who brought our food to the table lived 2 streets away from us.....what are the odds?

Your date night sounds amazing, I hate when you get that too full feeling and can't have an adult bevie....something about walking around WS with one of those little puppies in your hand spells heaven to me.

Love the look on Lauren's face when Luke has the Dole Whip Float....and Luke spitting out the water too funny!!!! We can all relate to how horrid that water tastes.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend and will patiently await the next post.:thumbsup2

Tim said “well, we really screwed the pooch on this one!” I had to laugh!
I had to laugh, too!

Then I got Shae and Tyson out to enjoy their favorite park:
Hooray!!:woohoo:

Tyson enjoyed his mission and was inspired to try on some head gear:
010640x480.jpg
Tyson LOVES this picture. You know he has one of those helmets at home, right?
So we headed to Innoventions West. We found a GREAT new activity there called “Don’t Waste It”- WHAT FUN!!!!

Thanks for sharing what this is all about. We saw it, but weren't too sure we wanted to invest time in it! Next time, we will!

We took Sooze’s advice and waited for the middle section front row – WELL WORTH it!

Yay! Especially if you have FP... what's another 5 minutes of waiting?

it was time to head to France for lunch.I was excited to eat at Chef’s De France. We had never eaten there before and I was excited to try it.

You guys ate at SOOOO many restaurants. I am FULL just reading about all of these!!

Lauren was the only one in our family who had NO IDEA this occurred at this restaurant.

I had NO idea they did that, either!

Tyson was in Bakugan heaven (he told Luke he liked these when we met them in Indy):

FUN!!

I was excited to find a toy from my childhood, remember Munchichi???
059640x480.jpg

I'm SO glad you posted this picture! Whenever Tyson's hair gets too long, I tell him he looks like a Monchichi! Of course, he has NO idea what I'm talking about. I showed him this picture... now he knows!

Everyone from Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch, Susie and Perla, penguin from Mary Poppins,

Her name is Susie?! Really!? I didn't know that, either!

We headed to test track, LOOK AT THIS FAST PASS LINE, yes, you got it right, the FAST PASS LINE
:scared1::scared1: That is RE-DONK-ULOUS!!

I logged on and started to panic and cry because of this bad email I had gotten – I don’t want to go into too much detail but let’s just say I was being accussed of something that I did not do, of following a policy that really didn’t even exist

Oh no! I'm so sorry you had to deal with this on your special get away!

We decided to do some attractions together so we went to the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor together.

I'm not gonna lie... I'm insanely jealous that your families got to hang out together!!

Looks like a great day at MK:goodvibes

I love Carousel of Progress...that is too cute that Lauren was so excited watching it :cutie:

The pic of you and Tim in front of the Ball is great. You should frame it :thumbsup2

your dessert does look fun and yummy too :woohoo:

Glad you got credits straightened out. That would have made me nervous

Gorgeous pics of sky in Epcot. :wizard:

Playing in the dark is fun....:woohoo:

Love the trip report, I'm normally a lurker on this board but couldn't resist leaving a comment. You have some great hint and things on here we might try next trip. Wish could take my kids to disney for almost a month, what an awesome trip!

Here is some of the delicious food we got from the buffet and the guava juice that was out of this world!!!

Now I'm drooling, thanks a lot!

The guy in front of us was saying he wondered if Disney did that on purpose (not opening the turnstiles so the line appeared larger outside) to have the crowds disperse to other attractions – could be.
Makes total sense to me!

Actually this ride is such fun I would wait 40 minutes for it, it’s one of my new favorites, SUCH FUN!
I totally agree.... In fact, last week, we waited 100 minutes for it! NO LIE!

I’ve seen it a million times, I wish they would update this, I’ve seen how Mushu is created a zillion times, come on Disney – let’s do a more modern character here. . . . PLEASE!?!?!

Amen, sistah!

Lauren and I wanted to do the Playhouse Disney show, the guys………….. not so much, so they went in search of the CARS meet and greet and Lauren and I waited for the Playhouse Disney show to begin. As we were in line Handy Manny strolled by

How cool that Lauren is a HSM fan, but still young enough to enjoy Playhouse Disney. Cherish it, Lesley, it's almost over!!;)

As Lauren and I were exiting the Playhouse Disney show Tim texted me and said he and Luke were at Brown Derby waiting on us for lunch, so we headed that way
Oh no... the Brown Derby... now I'm drooling again!! We ate there way back in 1992 as part of our America's Funniest Home Videos consolation prize. It was FABULOUS!!

Then we were shown to our table by a lady with NO personality

How do these people slip past the casting radar... I'd like to know!!

Food pictures are awesome!!

Let’s just say……………………………………… I WISH I HADN’T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YUCK!!!!!
075640x480.jpg

Priceless!! Thanks for this picture!!

Then we decided to stay for the parade since it was so close to parade time. I got the kids some popsicles to make them forget about the heat as we waited

Great idea.. that looks yummy!

Tyson and Shae hung out with Tim at the parade

Tim does not look too happy about having to entertain two extra kids!

She was like this our whole trip, so strange because she has always been the outgoing one, she LOVES to sing and dance, does it constantly, loves cheerleading in front of people, it was strange.
I am not looking forward to Shae's 'phases' either! I think girls are going to be sooo much more 'volatile' than boys! Good luck with Lauren's!!

I have pictures of this but of course I’m not going to post them – but we were dying laughing when we went upstairs because Lauren was strutting around the room holding her parasol completely naked – I snapped a photo from the back for blackmail in the future : )

Good mommy... very good mommy!

Hi! I just got through reading your entire report so far and i just wanted to say I love it!! Your family cracks me up and your kids are so cute. They seem so well behaved! You are so lucky that you got to go for such a nice long trip. AKL is gorgeous! Can't wait to read more :goodvibes

That’s why I love AKL, at what other resort can your kids be ENTERTAINED at the bus stop – so cool.
That is awesome! I can't wait til we get to stay at our new AKV 'home'!

Lauren came running back and said “the last one is ELEPHANT POOP!!!!”
:lmao::lmao:

O.K., back to the line. A bus for Magic Kingdom FINALLY rolled up and it pulled up and then pulled RIGHT OUT AND COMPLETELY LEFT. The guy who was with transportation who was tallying the buses coming and going threw his hands up in the air and looked at the driver and the driver just kept going. Talk about a lot of angry and confused people!!! So, we decided to go with the Epcot line and monorail over to MK since there were only like 10 people in that line, so we jumped over to that line. Well, as we did a Magic Kingdom bus pulled up, so we decided to jump back over to that but we didn’t see the wheelchair in that line. GEEZ. We ended up on a Magic Kingdom bus WITH the wheelchair and didn’t get to Magic Kingdom until 9:30 AUGH!

Whenever stuff like this happens (and for some reason, it happens often to us!) I just keep repeating over and over in my head "it's free transportation, it's free transportation, I'm on a Disney bus, it's free transportation". Just a tip! ;)

A happy boy on the train (and because we were following his plan):
Way to feed his ego! (just kidding! Tyson LOVES it when he makes the calls, too!!)

Tyson and Shae enjoyed the ride immensely:
012640x480.jpg

YAY! Shae's first time on Splash Mountain!

Tyson decided last minute he wanted to ride too so I quickly gave him to Tim

Sweeeeet... front row seats!

Then we enjoyed some yummy taco’s – I love that place

Another place we've never been to... Must try next time!

I think Luke was challenging it to hit his rear in this one:
031640x480.jpg

Wow... another like father, like son picture. Lesley, I think you are in trouble!!

We have read over and over on the Dis about the Dole Whip Floats but honestly we have never tried them, so Tim ordered one (in honor of Bob that passed away from the Podcast ) and he gave it a try. We decided to do another first for the trip: Carosel of Progress. I had been on this many times as a child but Tim and the kids had never been.

Wow... it's crazy how much NEW stuff you guys did! As many times as you've been, and there is always MORE to do!

Then I saw a dude with a BRAIDED mullet. Oh yeah, business up front and PARTY in the back:
043640x480.jpg

I love that you take pictures of random people! It is sooo something I would do!

You both looked fantastic for your date night!! So glad you got to spend some quality time together!!

Loved all of the pictures from your date night. It's great that the two of you can still be fun and silly without the kids!!!

Bus fires?! Crazy! Matt and Tyson had a bus break down while they were coming home from Epcot on our last night. A new bus had to come pick them up. Wonder what's going on.

Well, I think I am FINALLY caught up!! Please don't feel like you have to respond to all of my posts! You'll be exhausted. Ty and I are having an absolute blast reading about your trip and laughing at Luke and Tim's antics!!

Take care.. hope grandma is doing ok...

Another great report.. i look forward to your reports every couple of days... brings back many happy memories.. only the 6th day and you guys covered a lot of ground... great you did the date nights, so important to have special time with our spouses:love:!!!!! Your children look like they are having a wonderful time:yay::yay:.... Thank you for posting..

Awesome Trip Report!! It looks like you guys had such a good time!! I love the date nights! What a nice way to get a break. I might have to look into that for our next trip!

I don't know if you remember me or not. I followed some of your previous TRs. I haven't been on here in forever, got on today, and was so happy to find your TR!! I just sat here and read all 6 days!! Can't wait for more!!

As we sat at the table Lauren and I spotted Peter Pan and Wendy, so we headed across the way to wait in line.
023640x480.jpg

my favorite character! :yay: the one in the green....not the one in the blue with the bow in her hair. she's the homewrecker. :rotfl:

We have read over and over on the Dis about the Dole Whip Floats but honestly we have never tried them, so Tim ordered one (in honor of Bob that passed away from the Podcast ) and he gave it a try:
034640x480.jpg

glad you guys liked it! we LOVE them! ray has a way of mixing it up perfectly so it turns into a yummy slushy consistency and it's SO GOOD!

Then I snapped a photo of Tim and he wasn’t ready but it turned into a joke. He said.
“This is me when the restaurant comes out and announces they don’t have any steak”
064640x480.jpg

:rotfl2:

We had never explored the stores in France before, I loved the pretty windows inside:
071640x480.jpg

i love this area too! i'm sure you noticed this but the windows are themed after the beauty and the beast story. the one on the left is the village belle lives in (sing with me now....little town!!!!!), the one in the middle is the beast's castle and the one on the right is the enchanted rose given to the beast by the enchantress. there's also a book nearby that says, "la belle et la bete," french for "beauty and the beast". just a cool little detail!

We hopped on the bus and headed back. You ready for some CRAZINESS!?!?! As we are about to pull into the Jambo house our bus stops and says we have to unload here and walk in because the bus in front of us has issues (YEAH, the back of the other bus HAD CAUGHT ON FIRE!!!)

oh, my gosh!!!! i hope no one was hurt!

As we were sitting there, Luke decided he wanted a drink of water and went to the water fountain and had this reaction:
096640x480.jpg

:lmao: that water is NASTY! i think that's what made me feel icky in december last year. i normally drink bottled but had ordered water with a few meals and i'm sure they use tap unless otherwise specified.

Another fab update. It just occurred to me in these photos just how much Lauren has grown since your last report. They grow up too fast. :goodvibes I like how you and Tim take time for yourselves! :thumbsup2
