somehow i missed this!

For the Main dish Tim ordered a steak which came out draped in some sort of green veggie thing that he had to scrape off but once he did the steak was good;

that looks like spinach or arugala and i bet it was good!

Then it was desert time, I was intrigued by the grapefruit cake since it’s been on the menu since the 1930’s so I gave it a try:

Let’s just say……………………………………… I WISH I HADN’T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YUCK!!!!!

i hate grapefruit so i've never wanted to try it but people rave over it. i'm glad i'm not the only one who's not a fan!

Overall it really was a good lunch, but in my opinion not worth 2 table service credits, there was nothing that made it stand out – this restaurant should be 1 credit each, especially compared to the other 2 credit options we experience on this trip (more to come) and Jiko which we had already experienced.

i've never been there but from what i see it shouldn't be a 2TS place. i think they do that because there's no 2TS restaurants at DHS. at MK you have CRT and at epcot you've got the bistro place in france. AK doesn't have any 2TS places but it doesn't have that many restaurants, period. anyway, i just feel like they want to offer a 2TS place there. doesn't make any sense to me because i feel like it's wasting credits!

It was amazing, our whole family really enjoyed it, gave me the chills and once again made me appreciate the Disney experience on a whole other level – WONDERFUL. If you’ve never gone in before, I highly recommend it.

i love this attraction! always cry at the end of the movie. it's so sad that walt didn't get to see disney world! glad you guys did it.

loved luke's dancing at the parade! this parade is so full of energy...i don't see how those performers do it in the heat!

i love boma! the food there was sooooooooo surprisingly good! i want to go back in december 2010 but ray is hesitant because i told him it was african food (he's never been because i went last september w/ erica). i think i'm gonna make the reservation and just not tell him.

I'm glad you guys got off the bus safely. BUT - The bus catching on fire isn't all that bad... when I was little we were staying in Fort Wilderness we were walking around, then all of a sudden we see a group of people walking out of the woods. They had to walk back because on their hay ride one of the horses died!!

That sounds like something out of some stupid comedy movie. Not funny for the hay riders - that would be really sad.

Great update Lesley! I'm glad you loved the Dole Whip! I can't believe I skipped it last time - just wasn't in the mood for sweet at that time.

Looks like you all enjoyed the Dole Whip float. That is so cute that Lauren enjoyed COP so much & not surprising that Tim slept through it We skipped it in May as we had done it before. Looks like you had a great date night. I also bought the t shirt in France that says "I wine a lot"!! I thought it was great. A bus was on fire Hopefully everyone got off & was fine. Cannot wait for another update!!

Hey guys! Sounds like another funfilled day! Just a quick reply as I'm on the iPhone on our way home from a fun filled day at a theme park called Alton towers in England so it's a out a four Hr drive from us. It's no Disney but a great day out all the same! Can't seem to see all your pics but will have a good look tomorrow! Can't wait for next update!

Wow, this thing goes fast. A day after you started it there were ten pages, and now look! Took me a while just to catch up, but I am enjoying it tremendously as always! on the Dole Whip floats. BUT my mistake has given me the unexpected gift of catching up on your trip all in one shot this afternoon.

LOVE that you had some DIS meets. I know exactly what you mean about feeling you're best friends but haven't met yet!

AKL = I stayed there in Dec and loved it. Can't wait to go back.

Your DVC guide sent you presents? Another reason to purchase... as if I needed one.

So glad you and Tim got to enjoy some date nights! I ate in Jiko in Dec but didn't notice the changing lights on the wall. Next time for sure. And aren't drinks at the bar just fabulous?!

I have been lurking for awhile over here...but when I saw this I had to stop and say hi...because I'm vacationing in Grand Haven right now!!!! It's been a bit chilly but I hear the weather the next couple of days is going to be gorgeous!! Hope you are having a great time!!!
