Becoming Lean, Mean, Endurace Event Machines in 2008

Good early a.m. Lean Meaners. This thread really flies after I log off!!! You all come to life after noon!!

Debra: The whey powder in and with the Accelerade has helped with my leg cramps. My only other recommendation is tonic water (no gin) as it has quinine in it which is a natural remedy for leg cramps. Tastes nasty but works well.

Vic: Cool tat. I am a needle-phobic, otherwise I would probably have one by now!! :scared:

Connie: Packing, taper madness, heck I can be packed and ready to go to WDW 6 months in advance!! My kids call that anal packing. I call it preparedness...okay, excitement. Besides, our seasons change so that you are not wearing shorts when it is time to pack for WDW anyway!!

Beth: Best of luck in your half. You will do great. I always am so unsure of myself the week before. Check with Cruella de Mom, she does the same. Did I train enough, am I injured. Oh, and what about those phantom twinges??? Love those too...not. :sad2:

Everyone else: I didn't forget ya, I just get overwhelmed with the posting on this thread sometimes!! :headache: My feeble mind just cannot keep up. I know Bill is bringing a wagon for me, which should help with the beer laps around Epcot for ToT...:lmao:

In my corner, it is definitely spring and all I want to do is be outside. I did go to the gym like a good little girl and work my upper body as planned. Then my plan was to go for a run to DS baseball practice while DH took him in the car. Then walk with DH during the practice. Well that was the best laid plans of mice and men. He had to work on his dump truck as he has a job to do today and had no brakes. Well, okay, it was more important than my run that he can stop that mass in motion. So, I took DS to his practice, without running, and was complaining to my SIL that it was Boston Marathon day and I was sans run so she grabbed my arm and we went for a 1.5 mile walk in 20 minutes. Yes, once again, pushing me to the limits. It did feel good and I did feel better afterward. So, today was XT day but it is now run day because I am a day behind. Now that the sun is out, I have to concentrate on the opposite eating issue which is that I will stay outside and not eat at all. :sad2: I am still working on that calorie/protein/fiber issue so here's hoping that it works out soon!!

HAVE A GREAT LEAN, MEAN DAY...oh and enjoy the sunny spring weather!!! You could live in Northern Maine where they still have 5 feet of snow pack!! :upsidedow

Hey folks! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend! How pretty was it outside!

I just wanted to post how my 7 miler went. I will check back in the afternoon to catch up on everyone.

This is what I posted on the weekly thread, so if you've read it there...Same stuff...
In case anyone is wondering...ever plan on visiting eastern NC...The Morehead side of the Beaufort/Morehead bridge over to Fort Macon is exactly 7 miles! My mom and I started out just as you cross over the bridge from Beaufort to Morehead at the waterfront. We ran through Morhead and the over the bridge to Atlantic Beach. I hear there is an overpass for the 15K so thought I should practice a bridge! Not too bad. It was kinda cool running over the Intracoastal Waterway. Then once at Atlantic Beach, we headed toward Fort Macon. My mom did the first 4 miles and then Matt joined for the last 3. The first 4 were ok. We would walk a bit, job a bit...repeat. We actually ran a bit up the bridge and most of the way down it. I will say though, those last few miles were not easy. It was hot though there was a nice breeze. My poor arms are now sunburned. Note to self. Do not run from 11 am to 1 pm. Good thing I had by hydration booty bag. I went through 42 oz of liqued and 2 packs of beans. My avg pace got slower and slower the further I went. I finished w/an avg pace 14:59. Not really what I was hoping for. I mostly walked the last few miles.

It will be interesting to see how this weekend's 8 miler goes. I think I'll be doing it alone, which I fear may actually make me slower. My mom is such a speedy walker!

Overall, it was ok. I'm done now. yay. The only lingering affects were on my right leg, just behind my knee which was super stiff on Saturday and then on Sunday, both of my hips hurt--right on my hip bones it felt like. Yesterday and today both of those issues seems to be fine. My right shin is a little sore today though. Weird. It may be weather. That is the leg I broke a few year back.

I missed my XT last night, but do plan to aquacise tonight. Tomorrow I've got a 5 miler scheduled so I'll see how I feel then.

7 miles is the furthest I've been so I was happy to make it through. That in an of itself is a victory.

Funny thing is I'm pretty concerned about the Minnie 15K and the pace. I am really banking on the excitement to get me through. I will say, knowing that there is a 16 min pace for the 1/2 Marathon...I'm feeling pretty good about that.

I do think I'm am definately a walk/run type of gal. I'm still pretty heavy so I think that is better on my joints--especially since I have an arthiritic knee. I just really have to work on my pace both when I walk and when I jog.

I think after the Minnie, I may take a week, figure out what I want my base plan to be before training for the 1/2 starts up. I may do the C25K again to work on my running. I would really like to learn how to swim better too. I know how to swim, took lessons as a kid, but I really do not have the proper technique. The Danskin Women's Triathalon they have at Disney in May is very appealing to me. I'm thinking if I can work on my swimming and biking that may be something I would like to do next year.

Ok...wow... That's enough rambling from me!

I will be back to catch up on everyone... Promise! :grouphug:

Good morning Meaners! :thumbsup2 This was certainly a busy thread yesterday!

I don't know how well I will remember everything, but here I go!

Lisa: Glad you got something in yesterday! A fast walk is better than nothing, but I am with you with feeling a little put out. I have a dh who doesn't really understand the orcastration that involves my entire life. For me to find 1 hour a day for exercise, takes an act of congress. He doesn't understand when those plans fall through, that it ruins my day. I would have been a bit put out too!

Big Vic: Love the tatoo! A good memory to carry with you!

Bill: The wagons been going around alot around here, so now it's your turn to jump on! We all have been there, so we understand. Now is not the time to get down on yourself......that time is over. Now it's time to be happy that you are straigthen everything out. Better late than never, I always say.

Tracy: Tell your ds that we are all proud of him. Sounds like a real honor! You must be so proud.

WWDave: So how is Erica doing? Hope things are better for her!

To all the rest of the Meaners......hang in there! You are all doing a great job.

I did get a 3 miler in yesterday.......not a bad pace, but I was really tired at the end.....:confused3 Not sure how I am going to do in my 1/2 marathon. I didn't get to pack breakfast and lunch yesterday since I was late getting home, but I didn't do bad at all. Eating yesterday was the best in awhile. I did pack today though......good for me!

Beth

Stacie: Congrats on the new mileage breakthrough. My SIL did this during the half we ran as she had never been more than 7 so every mile I had to congratulate her on a new distance goal met. I am not so bold as to think triathlon though... sprint tri maybe but I am soo weak at swimming.

As a LOL side note, my friends daughter is on the school swim team and I was requesting her help with flip turns since the sprint tri I was looking at is in a pool. I told her that it was 400 meters to swim and she says "pssssh, that's JUST 16 laps". Just 16 laps, you might as well tell me I had to run an Ultra next week....:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: I can barely make 6 laps now with my super ugly flip turns and all!!

Congratulations again!!! :thumbsup2

Vic, I really love your tattoo! :thumbsup2

Debra, good luck with the house hunting! :goodvibes

Went for a run today after taking a week off. Left knee is still hurt and I had to stop early. Looks like I'm going to the doc.

I'm very upset. I gained a pound, too. I was used to running four times a week. This is gonna kill me. :scared:

Shan: First

Second: Where is the knee pain? Did it hurt during the half or after or the day after? Ah, so many questions. I think that icing and calling the doc are both good ideas. You obviously pushed hard during your half to meet you goal. I sincerely hope you are not badly injured and that this is an inflammation issue.

Best of luck and more  Don't be too down. I have been off a week too and am just starting back at it again. This too shall pass.....

Funny! I think the Women's Danskin at WDW is 400 yds = .25 miles. I'm not sure how many laps that would be. It's a 9 mile bike ride and then a 2 mile run so it's a mini or sprit-type one I think. I think I can do the 2 mile run...the others...hmmm, not too sure!

16 laps! That has me out of breath just thinking about it! LOL!

/
Lisa, I'm thinking the knee pain is coming from the top? :confused3

It started hurting me during my half at about mile 11. I limped most of the last two miles. It killed my pace. I was going around 10:30 to 11:00 and ended up with an 11:26 pace. I wasn't running any faster than I did during my training LRs, but I had just gotten over the flu and had missed a couple of runs.

I called and got in tomorrow with the doc.

Shan, good luck tomorrow. Keep us informed. I am hoping this is just a little patellar tendinitis and nothing more. I have it too, no worries. Just remember, comfort eating bad......:flower3:

I'm back...as promised...to try to catch up!

Connie...How is your hip feeling? I was having a little pain right on my hip bones (both sides) after my 7 miler--actually the next day. Very uncomfortable.

Deb...Mountain Dew! I so want one right now. I'm trying very hard to be a good girl though! I hope you are resting and being a good girl! How is the house/apt hunting going? Any luck yet?

Mike...Great pace on your 4.4 miler!

Panda...How is Erica doing? Is she feeling better?

Bill... "No more sight seeing tours" I love that. I'm kinda in the same place. I"ve not lost anything really since January. I've decided to get too down about it and really focus after the Minnie. We all fall off the wagon sometimes, the big things is to make sure to get back on and you've done that! :thumbsup2

Vic...What a slacker! :goodvibes

Lisa... You must be very proud of DD. That is a fast pitch! I'm so glad you are feeling better and getting back to training! You have cows? What do you do w/ them? My DH's grandfather used to be a dairy farmer in NY.

Beth...I live in NC, but have never been to the Biltmore. I hear it is really pretty. I think it's about 2.5 hrs from me. I'm further to the east.

Tracey...So glad to hear you had a perfect weekend! Ahhh :lovestruc

Hope everyone has a good evening!
Stacie

Tracey: I know I've said it before but I just love the sticks of butter for weight-loss comparison! I'm so glad you had the perfect weekend, and DS's recognition for the Glory of Missouri Award for Knowledge sounds like a perfect way to cap it off. Your pleasure with the weekend is palpable! :cloud9:

Mike: Crazy stupid busy, huh? :rotfl2: I am really sorry that work is like that, but your phrasing.... As far as training, are you telling us that you were able to get in some really solid biking this weekend? Is Spring finally in Chicago & just in time for your hard-core training? Yay!

Lisa: I just don't know if I can do tonic water without gin. It seems so...uncivilized! I'm sorry about your running plans being shifted, but am impressed by the 1.5 miles in 20 minutes walking! The day was kind of an exercise switch-out, which is bound to keep your body alert & eager for new challenges. (I can say this about your schedule, but changes in my schedule...:rolleyes1) I don't ever lose the desire to eat, at least when I'm healthy, but I do notice my eating patterns change during the year; during the spring/summer I tend to crave more fruits & veggies (esp. seasonal, local ones) and my protein intake suffers. I think other people go through similar things?? Your pattern seems closely linked with physical activity, I presume? Your family's lifestyle? Hey, maybe you and Stacie could train for the Danskin together (says the non-swimmer).

Shan:  I'm sorry to hear about the continued knee pain and pending doctor's appointment. I know this doesn't help much, but going to the doctor now is such a good thing to do. Better do that than drag out the wait.

Stacie: First, congrats on accomplishing your 7 miler! :cheer2: And you did a practice run with a bridge--cool--while doing your miles in the heat of the day--not so cool. Overall, I hope you're happy with your performance. I think you'll do fine on the Minnie, even better at the 1/2 because of experience & longer training. Heck, I'd say you've made excellent progress just figuring out you're a WR kind of participant right now. Plus, it seems like you have the training bug, with all your talk about C25K, swimming lessons, the Danskin tri. :woohoo: Lots to celebrate!!

Beth: Too bad about your 3 miler. I thin it's hard to predict how we're going to do at an event when the race is so close. Mine isn't until the 17th, but I'm already second guessing. I call it the burden of expectations--now that I have some, they haunt me. I've been reading your progress, though, and am sure that your hard work trying to reset your pace is going to pay off. Oh, and yay for bringing your lunch!

Everyone else:

As for me: Today I decided to take as close to a rest day as I felt healthy. I just did a quick set of core & Chi exercises, cutting out the rest of the program. (I might pop in a yoga for relaxation/meditation DVD tonight, but that shouldn't count, right?)

As far as the relocation, DOOD and I are scheduled to see some apartments this upcoming weekend for places we're interested in. Strange incident: I was wearing my Donald tech shirt this weekend, and some guy stopped me & asked if I did the 1/2. We got to talking--actually, he got to talking about his 18 marathons & numerous races--and out of the blue asked me if I was looking for a place to live. (I hadn't mentioned it, just that I was renting in the area.) Apparently, he's got a 3rd floor apartment in converted mansion (his words), with his mother living on the 1st floor. He claims he doesn't advertise, rents only to people he likes, and that rent is negotiable (and said he didn't even want to know how much I paid at my current digs.)

It sounds good, almost too good. How could he know if he liked me or not after a 10 minute conversation? Anyway, he gave me his name, contact info, and the address, told me to drive by the place, and give him a call if I'm interested. It's in the good part of the neighborhood, but I'm not sure if I'm ready for another rental situation where someone does me a favor & we have a business/personal relationship. Perhaps I'm too suspicious, though. We shall see.

Good evening Leaner Meaners!

Hoping your Tuesday is going well.

Had one of my troops resign today. Probably wasn’t going to make it through training anyway. Now I have to get the applications out and start looking. Anyone want to come to Florida, read applications and interview new prospects? :rolleyes1

Everyone – Thanks for kind comments about the tat. Marilyn asked me when I was coming home with a Lamborgini. I guess she thinks I’m having a mid-life crisis. Maybe I am. WooHoo!! :woohoo: Maybe I’ll come home with a Harley. Yeah!!! :thumbsup2

Debra – Hope you guys find something soon. Your landlady is a real piece of work. If you walk into the mansion and hear Rod Serling’s voice, RUN!

Tracey – Glad to hear you had a wonderful weekend.

Mike – WTG with the training!

Lisa – You know if Murphy can derail your plans, he will. Glad you were able to get a walk in though.

Stacie – WTG with the 7 miler! :thumbsup2

Beth – WTG with the 3 miler. You’re going to have a great ½!

Shan – Get that knee looked at.

:)

45 minute swim, followed by a 40 minute run...

Sorry for the drive byes folks, I'll post more details when work calms down to a dull roar.

I have been very unmotivated lately, probably because work is really taking it out of me...not stop frustration and stress, due mostly to high levels of accountability coupled with low levels of authority...

Mike

P.S. Vic, great ink! I have been thinking about getting some work myself...

Good morning Meaners!:wave2: How are you all? It's hump day!

Things were pretty quiet around here.....lets have a roll call!

I have been pretty happy with the last few days.......I am eating well, and have run Monday and Tuesday. I was sort of lucky yesterday that the boys had an extra baseball practice, and I got 5 miles in! :cool1: My dh is out of town, so I probably wouldn't have gotten a run in without the practice. You have to take every advantage when they come!

Tonight will probably be a rest day since the boys and I have a banquet. I don't think I will have time to fit anything in. Tomorrow is a day off, so I will get a run in.

Beth

Good Morning all! How are the Lean Meaners!

Vic...Mid life crisis!:goodvibes I say go for the Harley. I'd recommend the new Street Glide or the Road King! :thumbsup2 I'll come interview for you. I like that stuff.

Deb...How cool that guy offered you an apartment. 18 marathons. WOW! I hope you guys can find something soon. Good job getting your REST in! Active Rest day! You body will love you for it. I take too many rest days. That's my problem. :goodvibes

Mike...Great job on that swim/run. I'm really hoping to take some adult swim lessons this summer so I can learn to properly swim. I love the water and took lessons as a kid, but I think I need to re-learn some stuff!

Beth...Glad you have a good couple of days! Great job getting 5 miles in! That is fantastic. You are smart to take advantage of the extra time!

I was a bit bummed out Monday as it appeard I had gained 3 lbs over the weekend... my fault (Bojangles TWICE and Krispy Kreme donuts!) But today, the scale is down! Yay! I'm going to try to behave this week, but am feeling really positive that I can be succesful upon our return from the Minnie. I was supposed to aquacise last night, but did not make it. We didn't get home from work in time. So, I have now taken 3 active REST days! :goodvibes I do feel a bit guilty, but I am rationalizing it. I will do 5 miles today, then 8 Friday as my last LR before the Minnie. I hope to get in a few walks on Sat/Sun and then a 3 mile W/R on Wed before we leave for Orlando on Friday. Saturday is the 5K and the 15K on Sunday. I don't think you need to taper too much in prep for a 15K...:confused3 but I'm thinking I should be ok taking these "rest" days. I really don't know. I'm pretty much just hoping for the best!

Taking a quick break! I am getting ready for Kathy to be here on Friday and we will have a few days away, doing the OKC 1/2 marathon.

I have stuck with my bodybugg. I don't have any actual weight loss to report for the month...not yet, anyway. I haven't had that great 3-day ownership thing. Anyway, I have lost 3 inches and the clothes are looking better. Even the DOOC has noticed without prompting! He is vey thoughtful and complimentary when I make sure he knows that NOW would be a good time to notice! :rotfl: If I waited for him to notice my new haircut (which I got yesterday) it would have been all grown out! I have waistlength hair, but cut about 3 inches off and layered it. Looks great!

Hi to all! You have to just love this beautiful weather----it makes me into such a Pollyanna!
Stacie...Awesome job on your run. Running over the bridge sounds very cool.
Connie...I think that it's the best feeling of all when your clothes feel looser. Congrats!
Debra...You'll have to let us know if you look at the "marathon guy's" apartment. Sometimes things work out in the strangest of ways. Yay for feeling healthy and taking a rest day.
Beth...Banquet time...it is that time of year isn't it? Good for you running during baseball practice. I find that once I sit down and start chit-chatting that I never get back up.
Mike...Hope work starts to slow down.
Vic...Good luck finding new worker bees. Actually, a trip to Florida sounds fab!
Shan...Take care of that knee.
Lisa...Ugggg! I love to swim for fun, 16 laps doesn't sound like fun.
I'm sorry if I missed anyone.
One of my kiddos left their lunch at home today. I was getting ready to run it up to school (in the car) and realized it was way too pretty so I actually RAN it up to school. It was about 4 miles round trip. I figured (considering I drive a big SUV to haul all my kiddos) I saved a few dollars in gas and it was way better for my state of mind. I feel like you guys do, if I don't get that work out in, I'm a little crabby! Tomorrow my DS9 class at school celebrates Social St. Louis. We dress up in 1904 type clothing and eat foods that were served at the 1904 World's Fair and food common in St. Lou----toasted ravs, hot dogs, ice cream in waffle cones, root beer, Twinkies, you know....really healthy stuff:rolleyes1 . I'm on the decorating committee, I figure that carrying heavy tables and climbing up and down ladders will be my cross training.:) Stay strong all!

Vic: I'm so sorry that one of your recruits washed out (is that the correct pseudo-military term--all I know, I know from movies). As tempting as your offer sounds to read job apps, I'll have to pass. I'm washing my hair that weekend. And for your midlife crisis, I think you need to sponsor a stock car driver on a regional circuit!

Mike: I'm so sorry about the job stress--don't you wish one's work life was more like a superhero's? "With great power comes great responsibility."

Beth: It sounds like you've been having a great week, and wisely taking advantage of any "found" running time. WTG with the healthy eating, too!

Stacie: I think you should be okay with a few active rest days in a row, especially so close to the Minnie. I don't know why, but I didn't realize you were doing both the 5K and the 15K, even though I've been reading about your training & your family's participation. :thumbsup2 What fun! (I can't believe I just said that.)

Tracey: Great job on the 4-mile, save-some-gas, still-celebrating-Earth-Day, and mood-lifting combination run! Your Social St. Louis day at the school sounds like a lot of fun, if not good for the diet. I love how you're focusing on the XT, though! ;) And it sounds a little like a temporary version of a Disney theme park, or at least Detroit's Greenfield Village.

All other Lean Meaners: I hope you're not posting because you're all having great days, great WOs, and a lot of good, clean fun!

As for me: I have yet to look at the marathoner's digs. My fear, very similar to Vic's warning about the Rod Serling universe, is that he doesn't really have a (living) mother--much like Norman Bates in Psycho. :rotfl2: We've got some showings scheduled for Friday and if nothing pans out, I think I'll do a quick bike-by (as opposed to bike-by) to see if the exterior is intriguing. Then DOOD and I will take it from there.

I've taken another rest day today, with lots of stretching, light core work, and my regular, pedestrian walking. I'm also icing, resting, massaging, stretching, and elevating my legs. I hope this strategy will help me prepare for Saturday's LR. I'm planning on another core/rest day tomorrow and then light XT on Friday before that. I'm kind of following the 3-day rule for injuries, although I don't think I'm injured. Just being cautious. Interestingly, not working out has made me HUNGRY. I'm managing the hunger through lots of protein, complex carbs, and some MUFUs (thanks Lisa), but WOW! I could still eat a horse, preferably barbecued. :scared1:

Debra: Smart of you to take it easy and relax for a couple of days...that takes as much discipline as working out regularly, so nice job; Hope the house hunting goes well!

Beth: Nice week you are putting together...finish strong! :cheer2:

Stacie: I have taken 4 swim lessons in the last 6 weeks...two more planned...they REALLY helped me, now I'm just tired when I get done swimming, and don't feel like I'm going to drown every stroke...I've done quite a bit of diving, but breathing underwater is a lot easier if you have a tank of air on your back.

Tracey: I don't know what you mean about healthy foods at the fair...that sounds delicious! If you get some fish stick along with the hot dogs, you can claim surf and turf :lmao:

Vic I'm ready for a change...what are you hiring for?

Everyone else: :wave2: and :thumbsup2 for a great week!

Mike's place: Late night entertaining customers at a private showing of the Hopper gallery at the Art Institute, followed by a night of getting kicked in the kidney by my four year old in MY bed  then waking up 40 minutes early for my two hour bike ride and 10 minute brick run.

As a side topic, I've switched up some workouts, and gotten more aggressive about pace/speed work...last friday for my 50 minute run, I went to the local high school's 440 yard track, and sprinted 100, jogged 100, lather rinse repeat...I couldn't believe how hard that was for 50 minutes! Yesterday in the pool I swam a 300 yard warmup, then did 100 or 200 yard sprints for 20 minutes, with a 30 second rest between them...I hope that helps, it almost wiped me out. Or it might have been the 40 minute run that immediately followed, with some wind sprints in there, too.

Either way, it was a killer workout, and I am now rambling in an effort to put off going out on the bike.

Have a wonderful day meaners!!!!

Good morning Lean Meaners. I know you missed me yesterday...right...  I had a LTO day driving DH around as his equipment trailer is not going to take an inspection sticker and he needs a new one. His dad is going in for a total hip today so send PD our way. BTW Dave, he built the DMZ so a kindred spirit. Worry, worry worry today so I will be brief (as brief as I can).

Beth: I run during all practices. Never sit down, watch kiddo walk to field/gym and then book it. I talk when I get back. DD has softball and field hockey practices next to the track at school which works out well for me. Keep up the good work!

Debra: I am a voter for the if it sounds too good to be true theory. Norman Bates :scared1: I hope you truly did not get that vibe. I am "opinionated" as my DH calls me. He says I form an opinion within the first 5 minutes of meeting someone which is generally correct to a T. I guess I do, former personnel employee, watching eyes, body movement, etcetera. Maybe this guy is the same and you will hit the jackpot this time.

I do eat according to my activity. I built a rock wall last year and for 2 months straight ate breakfast and dinner but no lunch. Tons of water though. I also tend on my day off to not eat breakfast due to running around trying to clean as much as I can before dropping kids, gym, groceries and back home to finish up cleaning.

On the good news side interjected here, I FOUND A HOUSEKEEPER!!! Yay, my summer is my own. :woohoo: :cool1: :woohoo: :cool1:

Mike: My friends DD is doing the swim lessons for me. Right now I feel like a cow trying to swim not a sleep dolphin. Your words give me encouragement though!!

Vic: Yes I said personnel employee but don't get any ideas. I did this in GA on a military base and got accused of being predjudiced because I was from the North. No way I am coming South to interview ever again!!!!! :sad2:

Stacie: Ready to start Tri-training. Of course, we would have to leave this thread and head to the more elite triathlon thread...:snooty: :lmao: Maybe we could just virtually train and share our failures/accomplishments with Mike. :thumbsup2

Dave: Where is you great Panda?

Bill: I have your exercises, forgive me for my LTO day, I will get them to you asap. :flower3:

Connie: Yay for looser clothes. The scale is not the only measure. Everyone tells me how much weight I have lost when in reality I may have dropped 3 pounds. It is called "rearranging" or "resizing". :goodvibes

Everyone else: Sorry to those I missed. There are so many great accomplishments to celebrate so :dance3: to everyone. I am posting longer than I had intended.....popcorn::

From the Great not white North: It was hot yesterday, 80, and I ran 2.8 miles and then walked with DH for another 2.2. I had a HUGE breakfast and was not hungry for lunch...until I ran...and then it was nearer to dinner time. DS had baseball (when we walked), DD had softball and gymnastics. Spring break is busier than regular weeks. This weekend, we have a gymnastics State competition and then a field hockey tournament (thankfully in the same city) so will be spending the night. You will not hear from me this weekend but I will post how DD did on Monday. I am hoping for more running but will take what I can get in. And, yes, I will be more careful about what I eat. I don't do it on purpose, I just get focused on something and forget everything else (OCD???).

Have a great day Lean Meaners and hopefully everyone has the nice weather that we have been enjoying lately!!
