Beach CLub questions

1. Is the BEach CLub within reasonable walking distance to MGM Studio?

2. We have booked a pre-night to our land and sea package (4 night land/3 night sea). Will we be able to check in for the entire resort stay and the cruise when we arrive for the pre-night?

The Beach Club is a good 20 minute walk at a good clip from MGM. I would take the boat to save your feet. It is a very short 5 minute walk to Epcot from BC!
