So when we get to BOG will the cast member just scan our bands? Will it definitely work if it's not showing up in MDE?

Yes, it will work It will not show anywhere in MDE as it is an entirely different system for this, website etc. You should be able to log back in to the BOG site and see yours. But no, it will not show on MDE.

I am so confused on the open dates for availability. I thought it was 30 days out. I'll be at 30 tomorrow, but Aug 20 just opened. So that means I have to wait another 11 days for Aug 31 to open?

I got my invite today and booked the fast pass! My stupid wireless printer wouldn't make a connection so I couldn't print a copy : ( I did take a picture of the lap top screen with my phone. LOL

To late for you now, but you could have just printed to a file for making a hard-copy later, or just grabbed a screen-shot.

From what i have been reading it is 27 days out right now. That means your date would be Aug 4th to book if your date is Aug 31 that you want it for. (30 days out would actually be Aug 1st-not tomorrow.)

If you will count today and count 28 days out, that day will be the day that you would be able to book for.
So Aug 20th would be open today, Aug 21st tomorrow, etc.
If you are looking to book your BOG FP on Aug 31, then Aug 4th would be your day!
It doesn't open up for your entire trip like the ride FP does, only for days at a time

If Disney keeps this schedule then August 4th would definitely be your day Count 28 days, and actually count August 4th as the first day will get you to August 31st!

I've been reading somewhere around 2 am-but it doesn't sound like it's necessary to get up that early. It seems they don't go quite that fast, and getting on the morning of sometime works out just fine.

Here's a toughie for you guys. I have 2 trips planned currently and I entered the reservation number for the second trip before I planned the first. So when testing the BOG FP site out I put in the reservation number for my end of September trip. Now I'd like to try to make a FP reservation for BOG at the end of August. However the only dates that show up are the dates for my September trip.

How do I add a second reservation number to the BOG FP site?

How do I add a second reservation number to the BOG FP site?

Just create a new login with a different email address, and connect the August dates to it. No need for a full MDE account (that is not connected to BoG lunch bookings at all) just a Disney.com login.
