Be Our Guest Lunch Fastpass

i finally booked for August 19th a few days ago!! Thank you to everyone for the advice. I kept refreshing the page till I got the PERFECT time for us.:)

I also pre ordered all our food and have printed the confirmation page.

SO excited to see how this all works out on the day!!:thumbsup2

To all the people who are counting days, go to My Disney Experience (on the web, not the app) - it tells you how many days there are to go. You can currently make BOG FP's when it says 28 days, correct?

I believe I've read it is now 27. (subject to change?!!) The MDE countdown will work as long as the day you want the fp+ for is the day you arrive. If you want it for another day of your vacation, you will have to wait a little longer.

Ya my MDE countdown is at 29 days, but the date I need our FP+ is our 5th day of the trip. So I still have 8 days until I can get our date if the 27pattern continues...although I will be seeing what happens Sunday if I attempt a FP+ on our check in day.

Me too! My family will be very excited. I was surprised that they don't offer the whole menu on the pre-order fastpass. Whatever... Just happy to not have to stand in line under the sun.

Did they change it? Last year they had the whole lunch menu, I loved preordering our food, it was so much easier.

The option to order everything on the menu was there a few days ago when I booked our lunch fp.We opted not to order because we always end up changing our minds anyways.

do the kids have to order a kids meal if your on the dining plan? it didn't give me an option to get the kids a cupcake
just booked for 8/21

Is there an option to special order something when you order in advance? For example, the turkey sandwich comes with dijon mayonnaise and I hate mayonnaise. Can I preorder it without? (It is also possible the mayonnaise come on the side in a packet anyways, so there would be no need to special order). Thanks!

Just create a new login with a different email address, and connect the August dates to it. No need for a full MDE account (that is not connected to BoG lunch bookings at all) just a Disney.com login.

Andre

Thanks! That worked for me. Now I just have to wait a few more days.

yes, I took that mayo off 2 sandwiches last year, don't know about on the side.

I had the braised pork lunch, it was SO good; best meal of the trip and more like a TS meal than CS one

I can't get that far into the site because my vacation is too far away. But, as I recall, on the page where your lunch selection is there should be a little pencil icon somewhere. If you click on that, it lets you "edit" your order and remove things like dressings or toppings that you don't like. If you want mayo or something on the side, you can ask your server when they bring the meal, and they can generally accommodate.

Thanks for your and scard's responses. This answers my question. Regarding on the side, I didn't word my thought very clearly. At some places, they just put the condiments on the side. I was curious if they did that at BOG, and if so, then I my other question wouldn't apply.

Works out great feel bad as I passed all the people on the standby line... We have done it 3x in the past. Take a picture with your phone in case they can't find your name as one time due to changes made they had me messed up..

If the sandwich says it has mayonnaise or barbeque sauce, or whatever, in my experience there that means that it comes on the sandwich, and you would have to tell them to leave it off if you don't want it. I recall that I did order one sandwich without some sort of sauce or condiment that I didn't like, but when I asked the server, she brought me some mayo in a little cup.

Us too - very excited. Thanks to everyone that gave their input. It all worked out great. We did not preorder food - too many of us for everyone to make a decision.

Funny though that I just got the email from Disney at day 23.

When ordering our BOG lunch at the kiosks you could request no sauce or whatever else came on the item you were ordering. It was great! We did that for what my daughter ordered and it came out perfectly.;)

I'm sure this has been asked/answered before, but can't find it. When I go to the be our guest log-in page it only asks me for my e-mail and password not my resort confirmation number. My reservation window is too far off (going 11/2-11/7) so I'm unable to check if I'll be able to make reservations. Does anyone know if I'm doing everything right and for some reason my resort confirmation number is not required. Thanks!

I'd love to know about this because I just made a FP and it never asked for my reservation number. Just my log in and password. But when I log back in, my FP reservation is there, so I'm assuming it's okay!
