Be Our Guest Lunch FastPass Thread [PLEASE read the FAQs in the first post!]

Sept 2nd opened up today. We arrive on Aug. 31st and I was able to get the FP+ on Monday. BUT, our anniversary is Sept. 2nd and wasn't able to choose that date until today. Was happy to be able to easily change it.
 
I just tried. I cant pull up my long form reservation number anywhere. i called disney, they wouldnt give it to me. they said this is a test by invite only, and that should i get an invite, all instructions will be in that email.

I got the e-mail and still would not work for me (it only would give me next week). I guess it was still seeing an old reservation. I created a new e-mail account and inputted the new reservation and it worked.

Did you purchase the memory maker with your package. That number is your reservation number. Which I also double checked with my luggage tags. Try that number.

The Disney CMs don't know anything about the BoG FP+ procedures, so I swear they just make stuff up. An email invitation isn't necessary, and anyone staying onsite can go to the BoG lunch website and get a FP+. I know you said you couldn't pull up your 12 digit reservation number anywhere, but, just to be sure, did you try all the methods described in the section entitled How do I find my 12-digit hotel booking reference number? in the first post on this thread? Most people have found that at least one of these has worked for them.
 
Can you post if that works by creating a new account? I did create an account under my mom's name and put in the latest reservation number and NOTHING. Error message again.

Hmm, did not work for me either. Trying to book for the second part of a split stay...I created a new MDE account (with a new, never before used email address). The message I got was "this reservation is already linked with (my husband's name's) account. Please contact (my husband's name) for more information."
 
Received my BOG email invitation on July 30. Logged in with no problem. However, there is only one week showing available and it is the week BEFORE our vacation begins. The dates showing available are August 17 -23 and we check in on August 24. I asked my TA and she said to just keep checking every day for our dates to show up. But after reading the information on this forum it sounds like my dates should be showing up now. Anyone else have this problem, could Disney have made a mistake with my dates?

It does sound to me like there's something not right here. The days to look at should correspond to the dates of your visit, and FP+ slots for August 24 and later are already available.

Did you ever have August 17-23 associated with your reservation number and they were changed to arrive on the 24th?

Hi! I was wondering if anyone had this problem lately...

I booked a FP lunch for BOG this morning without trouble. But when I went back into my account, I can't make any changes... as if I had not made one. I thought I done it wrong (it was before my morning coffee lol!), some I made another one, but still, I can't see it. I would like to cancel one of them, if I really made two...

Does it take a couple of hours to show up in my account?:confused3 And I don't mean the MDE account. I know it don't show up in there. I mean in the BOG FP website.

I've used the website twice before and never had any problems of this kind...

Actually, you received the e-mail on the right date assuming you have a check-in date on the 24th. I received my e-mail the day before you did, and I am arriving on the 23rd. Definitely sounds like they have the wrong dates for some reason. Odd.
 
I am having the same issue. I am doing a split stay at BWI August 21/21 then going on a cruise. When I come back on August 30-Sept 1st we are staying at AKL. I am using the confirmation number from my stay at AKL but can only see date for August 21-28. I want to book for August 31st when I am in the MK. Any ideas??

August 28th only opened today. tomorrow th 29th etc. the 31 is not opened yet but within a few days--- Im waiitng for the 31 too

The only option I get is "Select or Replace". I can't access "View" / "Modify Meal Selections" or "Cancel".

When I booked the FastPass, I chose the Option "FastPass+ Direct to table". Chose my meal for me and my husband. Done it all, like I did twice in my past trip...

I truly don't understand what is happening for this reservation. :confused3
 
For the people who need their reservation number that begins with 44, if you can't find it any of the ways mentioned previously, it will be in the email you receive inviting you to participate in the test for lunch at Be our Guest. You will receive the e-mail about 25 days from your arrival, I got mine today.
 
Has anyone been able to book for September 6th yet? My stay is Aug30-Sept 7th I wanted BOG lunch for the 6th but it is only showing dates until the 5th. It was showing the 5th yesterday, so I figured today Sept 6th would pop up...nope?

EDITED!! UGH!!! I just read back a few pages, and it looks like I wont be able to pre-book for BOG lunch on Saturday Sept 6th because that is the 8th day into our trip??? We already have BOG dinner reserved for our earlier day in the trip and I dont want to go to lunch there before dinner--eventhough I know they serve different food... I want the Dinner to be our first experience for the ambiance.

Will this date eventually open up for us or no lunch for me because I am staying too long :/

Yes, we did have a reservation for that week that was canceled several months ago. But it was a separate reservation and different confirmation number from our current reservation, not a changed reservation to reflect a new arrival date. If this is the problem then it must be because both reservations were linked with my Disney Experience account.? This is really disappointing. We really wanted to go there for lunch without a long wait in line.
