Any podcast fans who are also history buffs? Question...

I am trying to become a bit better educated in all things history. I found a very large series from Dan Carlin called Hardcore History that comes very highly recommended on Reddit. I've listened to a couple episodes so far. I'm curious if any of the history buffs here knows about this series, and if you do, do you recommend it for someone trying to learn? I'm just not sure how I feel about the series so far so figured I'd ask.

If you are not familiar with this particular series but know of one that you have listened to and enjoyed I'd love to hear about it as well.

Thanks for reminding me to return to Mr. Carlin’s work!
He digs deep into what H.G.Well’s might call classical history but he rarely loses track of a thought.

I would recommend his podcast to anyone of any age with an interest in the past. Maybe they could better see current events?

My education growing up was very limited in the history of the world. It doesn't help that it's not a subject that intrigues me either so I need someone to present it in a way that grabs me and makes it interesting. I was told that Carlin's work would do that but I'm not feeling it yet, hence the reason for the thread. I'm gonna give it a few more episodes to see if it grabs me. Maybe I just need to accept the fact that history just might not be my thing.
