Oogie Boogie on sale date June 26 early for MK June 24-25

100% my thought based on our past experiences. I will say, "busy" at OBB is still waayyy better then "busy" on a normal park day.

We went late last September on a weekday, and RSR and Guardians both had a 60 minute wait all night (with all three elevators working). That was despite huge lines at the treat trails.

In the final hour, the treat trails had no waits but the big attractions still did.

Looks like many of us will be going 10/19!
I was juggling the Oogie Boogie general ticket queue AND the Universal Orlando passholder nights queue simultaneously- they both dropped at the exact same time lmao. It was super stressful, especially when the two times synced perfectly (started at 54 minutes for OBB and 3+ hours for UOPN, but UOPN kept dropping quickly until they were both synced at 19 minutes and then they stayed within a minute of each other). Super stressful, do not recommend, but I successfully nabbed both events for my first choice dates haha
I love that you were successful with both events! Go have a drink. 🍸

It wasn’t that long ago that the Halloween parties were still available to purchase in August. It’s really only been crazy demand for a few years. I hope it’s evening back out.

Also they are putting less and less effort into the after hours events. We usually do SW night but didn’t this year. They keep taking away stuff (like fireworks) and not really adding anything. Same with OBB. Remember how it had a special WOC one year? It wasn’t good, but it was something new to experience. Now there’s nothing like that. Maybe 1-2 new villains.

Im thinking OBB. It's alot of money and its somewhat of a duplicate of last year. I know that if nothing new comes along next year we will skip it.

I only bought them because we live on the East coast and haven't been to DL since 2004.

We plan to do one day in DL and one in DCA, so I figured might as well have some extra stuff in DCA. My husband didn't complain about these tickets since we needed something as opposed to when I would buy MNNSHP or MVMCP tickets when we were annual passholders. He would say so remind me why we're paying to go into MK when we could go in a different night for free?

It was a long time ago :). They revived the separately ticketed Halloween events 20 years ago. I don’t think the initial years at DCA sold well, but once it moved to DL it became a hot ticket. Granted, there were only a handful of evenings that it was offered.

We went in 2019 and bought tickets in August.

Wait is a half a minute. 10/12 and 10/31 are sold out. Everything else is available. Demand for tickets is way down.
I'm honestly surprised the event is so big still

Like Universal makes a brand new event for Halloween every year...Disney charges double and adds 2 new characters every year.

I did enjoy the event but for the price...I could go to two other haunt events. Also they took WOC away....so one show for its the parade

I've been looking all over and can't find it so I'm guessing I know the answer...are there no DVC or magic key discounts to oogie boogie this year?
