I read reviews for Be Our Guest on All Ears and many mentioned getting a fastpass for lunch. How does one do that?

Also, what is the "Tables in Wonderland" food discount?

Thanks.

There is a special website to book BOG FP for lunch. You have to be invited via email. You can go on the site itself and "book" something without being invited and get a reservation, but they won't honor it as it won't show up in their system.

TIW is 20% off most TS restaurants, lounges and a couple QS restaurants. It is for AP holders, DVC member and Florida residents.

Thank you for the great info. How do you get "invited" to get a BOG fastpass, or even get on the email list?

I thought they meant they walked up to the castle and there was a fastpass machine there for lunch times :rotfl2:

Who said they won't honor it ? There are reports all over this forum about people using the BOG fast pass without an invite and having no problems.

I was not invited. I went to the website, entered my Disney resort room reservation number, and it let me make a reservation. I did this last month. Worked perfectly! It is only for onsite guests.

Can someone tell me what this website is so I can try it at the 180 day mark?

Thanks.

I have used it four times with NO email invitation and it was always honored including one in February and one in April. If I were concerned I would probably just do the pre-order/purchase of my meal - they then have your money and can't see them turning you away.

But I have never had my window to get the FP+ open up before 10 days prior. I see folks get them earlier but so far I have not, so keep trying. Yes, you have to be a Disney resort guest.

I also have TIW and I can not use it there at lunch time, only dinner. The dinner menu & prices do not appeal to me even with the TIW so I stick to lunch.

You cannot use the special site at the point. It only becomes available at around 60 days and you must be a resort guest. It used to be by invitation only but that seems to have been changed.

I also have used the website without an invitation and had no problem.

I followed the link that was listed too w/o an invite. took a screenshot of my FP+ selection, figure it wouldn't hurt to have it as back up jik there is an issue.

I got the email with the invite to the website for my Oct trip. When I try to book, it tells me "no available FP's. Please try another day."

So I can't book until 60 days? Why would Disney send me the link so early?

I had a fast pass for tomorrow. It was there last week. Tonight, I went in to check our meals and it was gone-nothing to modify and no available fast passes. I'm very disappointed.

So, did your FP ever show up in your MDE? From what I hear, it WON'T show up there, as it is separate from FP+ or ADR's.

I had a FP for BOG last month, and it never showed up in my MDE. But it was there when I showed up for lunch! If you go back to the BOG website where you made the reservation, I think you can see it there.

FYI -- I just called and asked. yes, you can book directly through the above website (email or not). And as long as you have linked your reservation to that site, you can book 60 days out from your arrival date.

If when logging back in, and it's not showing your reservations for BOG (I used the link that was posted), how do we go about canceling them if we can't make it? I'm worried my parents group of 5 who also have BOG's reservations may need to cancel and don't want the $10 charge per person. Thanks!

Also, has anyone else noticed that when doing the kids meals they don't ask for the child's dessert option if on the dining plan? Are we able to get everything fixed when we get to the kiosk? I also forgot to put that my parent's were using the dining plan and their meal has a total.

Did you have an ADR (for dinner) or a FP (for lunch)? There is no penalty for not showing up for the lunch FP. If you have an ADR for dinner, you would need to cancel through MDE or by calling the reservations line directly.

Just an update- we ate there today! Last night, I logged into the beourguest website-not mde- and our fast pass was not showing up. I looked at FAQ and it said to contact your resort front desk. I did, and they told me to go to the concierge. I did and he has me log in to my account. He saw what I meant and told me to go to the magic plus people in the park with my printout. I did, who told me to just show up with the paper at the restaurant. Well- I ended up losing the paper. I show up, searched for the paper and decide to ask, well what do you know, they have my name but not the prearranged food order. I asked and I was told it was a beta so as long as it were tied to my reservation. All and all good and we would do it again.
