I'm planning to purchase around 30 direct points of either BCV or BWV. I'm struggling to decided where my new "home" resort will be for roughly 2 days a year. I absolutely love BCV. I've stayed there as a guest many times with my aunt who is an owner.
The point chart at BWV is sooooo much more appealing, though. The problem is that I've never stayed at BWV's before. I've watched YouTube videos, read blogs and read posts, but it's been years since I've set foot on the resort.
BCV has a special place in my heart. I have had family photos taken on the grounds and my kids adore it. It's also going to take all of my 30 points to stay there for two days a year. I feel like I'd need to buy 32 points just to make sure I have enough points for two days a year. I love the pool...but at $245 a point....$210 is so much more affordable and the elusive standard rooms could mean 3 nights a year.
I know that only I can make this decision. I'm making myself absolutely nuts. My husband too, LOL! I wish I lived closer and could experience BWV's for a weekend to see if it's my kind of resort. Any insights would be appreciated. Once my membership account is created for my recent resale purchase (hopefully this week), I'm going to put myself out of misery and make a decision.
