My understanding is that only a portion of SAB will closed at any one time. Perhaps your DD's favorite sections will be the ones still open (or the ones newly rehabbed).

If not, you can always hop over to the "scary clown" pool. :teeth:

I'm sure you will all have fun, anyway.

Best wishes -

the pool is alway a warm 83 just don't forget your towel !

Yup, we'll be there this February (actually every Feb) and my kids will be really mad the pool is closed. This is our first time at BCV (we've stayed everywhere else but SSR) and we were really looking forward to swimming at SAB. My kids won't want to swim at BWV with "that clown thing" and pool hopping somewhere else is a pain.

I feel lucky though. We usually only get regular APs, but this year we decided to splurge on PAPs (went in August and did a lot of time at the water parks). I guess we can go to a water park a couple of afternoons. Who knows, maybe they'll finish by the time our vacation is over. I'm still looking forward to it.

Hey, I have to change my counter. I forget how to do that.

In your opinion - which DVC did you like best? We are trying to decide for February (leaning toward VWL) for 2 adults.

That's so hard to answer. We like them for different reasons. We love the rooms and relaxing atmosphere at OKW. When we are staying for at least a week (just our family--no stragglers) we like OKW. When we are staying with family or other people, we like BCV/BWV area because it's easier to hook up with people, or some can wait outside while waiting for others. WLV wins the theming contest hands down. And, interestingly, WLV is my kids' (8, 5, 1) favorite. They like being close to MK, and they love spending non-park time at the contemporary and Ft. Wilderness.

The only one we'll probably never book again--unless we can't get BCV--is the boardwalk. There are a few reasons--kids hate "that clown thing", a little noisy for us, we don't eat out so restaurants aren't a draw, my dad died on one visit there, we got the "cruise ship flu" on another trip after sick cruisers arrived at the hotel, etc. etc. etc. Obviously, some of the reasons are personal. And if the BCV didn't exist we'd probably go once in a while.

For two adults, I would think BCV or WLV.
