What type of person are you?
Hopefully you are at least one of those!! :earseek: :rotfl:

Since we moved I finally have a nice big tub to take a bath in. I have candles all around the tub. I have set it all up before with various bubble baths and music. But no matter how nice I make it once I'm in, after about 5 minutes or so I'm bored and ready to get out.
Sooooo.....I guess while the idea of a long relaxing bath sounds good, I'm really a shower person.

I have an en-suite shower room at home which I have never used. I love my bath tub and hate to stay anywhere without one. But I am from the UK!

For cleaning, I like a shower.

My bath is for relaxing, reading a book with bubbles and candles in the room. :goodvibes

We have a gorgeous garden tub in our master bath and I've yet to take a bath in it! No time! Lived here 2 months already. DH has used it, though!

I am always in a hurry, it seems, so shower is usually my choice =)

I'd be a bath person if I had a jacuzzi tub. Until then, it's showers for me!

Pardon my ignorance Susan- But what does en-suite mean?
I have read that term before -does it mean -in the bedroom?

I know what you mean. I have been in my new house since May and my masterbath has a huge oval tub that I have always dreamed of having. I finally took a bath in the thing on Christmas eve with bubble bath. I was in it for about 5 to 10 minutes then I was out. Oh, yeah, then slipped trying to get out of the darn thing. :rotfl:

Definitely a shower, I also get bored after about 5 minutes in a bath. I have tried reading but the book just keeps getting wet.

Clarabelle, yes it means attached to the bedroom. We have a wonderful body massager shower but I still prefer my the bath tub.

I could live in my garden tub. Dh is a shower person & I always wonder how he can live without soaking in the tub every now & then. So relaxing. :cloud9:

I'm a shower person.

The only time I'll actually sit in a bath tub to bathe is in one of those old big porcelain claw footed tubs.

I'm definitely a shower person. I tried a couple of times to take a relaxing bath - I got out the candles, bubble bath, a good book - but I didn't find it at all relaxing. I couldn't get comfortable. Plus, I got really cold! On the other hand, I love taking a nice, hot, steamy shower. :goodvibes

I prefer a shower...even the few times I do take a bath, bubbles, book etc...I still have to get up at the end and shower since I cringe at the thought of just sitting in my own dirt water and getting out without showering clean!

I take a shower in the morning to get clean.

I take baths at night to unwind from a long day. I love bubbles, candlelight, trashy magazines, and a cold beer in the tub. :cool1:

I was always a shower person - I'm really short and I could never fully relax in the tub because I would slip under the water if I didn't have my legs braced against the end.

Then I married a man with a lovely claw-foot old fashioned tub and I have now discovered the joys of relaxing in the bath! I've even started learning to make my own bath salts and oils. I still take showers for getting clean, but I like a hot bath for relaxing, especially if I have sore muscles. I've bought a nice bath pillow, which makes a big difference in relaxing. Now I'm on the look out for one of those bathtub trays with a book rack...

I am a shower person, but years ago when we finished our lower level (family room and bathroom) we decided to make the bathroom bigger than planned and added a jacuzzi tub. We had both always wanted one and looked forward to having one in the house, we made sure it had room on all sides to place candles. We did use it in the beginning, maybe once or twice a month. Eight years later and it gets used maybe two or three times a year. Oh well, someday it will hopefully add to the re-sell value.

Shower :umbrella:
tub is okay, but I am a very dirty girl! ;)

I'm a shower person. A bath is for lots of things, but I take a shower to get clean.
