Hot mess checking in
I haven't read the thread and promise to catch up in the next day or so but I wanted to post quickly and account for my whereabouts

. What was supposed to be a simple one night hospital stay turned out to be a week long stay that has me the proud owner of a trach for the next month. Admittedly, it was a bit tense during the second surgery when they couldn't get my blood pressure above 50/30 and were shooting me full of adrenaline due to my pulse being 32

After 7 hours in recovery to stabilize me, I spent the next 5 nights in ICU and they finally discharged me despite my calcium levels still being unacceptably low.
On a good note, I'm hoping the humidified air I'm forced to have blown in my face 24/7 for the next month will make my complexion look 5 years younger

and I'm bound to have earned a bunch of street cred with the 6 inch "J" shaped scar on my neck that will only be enhanced once they stitch up my trach incision

Also, Mike's bound to be impressed with the number of pharmaceuticals they're presently pouring into me to get me remotely healthy

. It is what it is and I just want to thank everyone SO VERY MUCH for all of the love, prayers and positive thoughts that have helped more than you know
