Your night in sounds lovely! Now that we have kids New Years Eve is a night in for us as well.
We had baked nacho grande for dinner and then family movie night. Hannah got "The Black Cauldron" DVD for Christmas so that's what we watched. Clay fell asleep

so it was just me and the girls watching. I'd never seen it before...very strange movie. We watched Dick Clark's Rockin' New Years Eve and saw the ball drop. Hannah declared that she wants to go to New York.
I have to second Jackie on the Dave Barry/Ridley Pearson books. I've been reading those to Hannah at bedtime. We're currently reading "Peter and the Secret of Rundoon". I've already bought the newst book and we'll start that when we're done with the current book.
I spent a few hours in Books-A-Million today. It was sheer heaven! I walked out with three new books: 1) An Ice Cold Grave by Charlaine Harris (I've really been getting in to her books lately!); 2) Mousejunkies by Bill Burke and 3) Street Gang: The Complete History of Sesame Street by Michael Davis. Can't wait to start reading them!
Happy New Year to you and your family!
