That is just wonderful. I am glad you enjoyed your trip and had such a great surprise. I just did a review of our stay in the Poly Concierge. We most likely wont be going back there but we still love the Poly. We have never been upgraded in all our stays there so you sure did get the pixie dust!! Did your kids get little beach pail gifts and did you get the chocolate post card. Just wondering because we didnt get any of those things.

That sounds wonderful! I stay at the Poly 30 days a year and have never gotten a upgrade to anything!

Congratulations!! That could have been me writing that post, I had the same exact experience in October....it was amazing.....I didn't sleep at ALL during my week Poly stay... I stayed up all night lying in bed watching the castle change colors. I figured I could always catch up on sleep but it was a once in a lifetime experience to take it all in while I could. It was a dream come true!!!!!!!!

DW and I were actually at the Poly on 12/9 for a 9:30 ressie for the 'Ohana character breakfast. So, we were wandering around the lobby before the ressie and were there for a little while afterward. What a great post!!! I loved reading it. Disney does make dreams come true! Polynesian LVC is my favorite resort room on site at WDW. After staying there, how do you plan to go back to just a regular ole room again? From experience, it is not easy! Congratulations! Can't wait to read about your other surprise!

So glad that you enjoyed your stay in 'our' room. For many years this has been our requested room when staying at the Polynesian. It became smoking optional last year and I was wondering of the condition of the room when you arrived? Was there any hint of smokers having stayed in the room? Thanks in advance for your post and I'm so glad you enjoyed and took good care of our room before we arrive again!

Congratuations on the upgrade. We felt the same way when we got upgraded at the Contemporary. We booked a standard wing room at the time and got upgraded to a tower room facing Magic Kingdom. It was such a great feeling.
