Back 2 Back Cruise ???'s

at San Juan we got off the ship, waited about a half hour, then got back on. I don't think it was even as late as 10:15. But one should not expect to be allowed back on that early in every port. Possibly even in San Juan because I have no idea if that was normal.

Really what's annoying is a poster who discounts all other experiences because people don't have a curriculum vitae posted in their signature line.

I have just counted, I have completed 12 different back-to-back sailings with DCL. The first one in 2006 and the last one last October. And I have done b2b on all 4 ships. The process has changed a lot over the years. In Port Canaveral, I would advise people to plan on getting back on the ship closer to 11 than 10. Several years ago, yes, we were off the ship by 9:30, checked back in and back on the ship shortly after 10. Starting in about 2011, we hardly ever got back on the ship before new passengers started entering the terminal -- that included our trip last October on the Wonder (and in my experience b2b turnaround was earlier on the classic ships than the newer ships). We watched as new passengers arrived around 10:30. We were still sitting in the concierge lounge (where they put all the b2b'ers not just concierge b2b). It wasn't until close to 10:50 that they let us reboard. Concierge guests for that sailing boarded about 10 minutes after that. Similar experience on our b2bs in both Spring and Fall 2013.

Any I implying anyone is wrong? No, I'm saying the collective experience (from this thread and others) in the last year or two (which apparently some cannot speak to with first hand knowledge) is count on 11 am, be pleasantly surprised if it is anything earlier.

To the question at hand:
We used to go back to the room to finish laundry on turnaround day. Now we don't have time before the new passengers board. We take everything we need with us and plan to not get back to the room until 1:30.

Are character breakfast and the stage show the kids perform when they get t-shirts to keep only for 7 night or longer cruises

My DD loved the kids show and being on stage with Mickey and Minnie-she is a dancer so her signed character shirt got her lots of attention after we returned home We also only experienced the show on the Wonder but I though it was only for 7 night or longer cruises?? Can anyone confirm if the Magic 5 night cruises have the stage show the final sea day?

If the stage show that you are referencing is the "Friendship Rocks" stage show that is done as part of the Kids Club, they have offered it both on our past 5 day Dream and 5 day Magic cruises. They give all the kids a t-shirt and they perform on the stage and are joined by Mickey and Minnie.
