Baby and the Tramp...and a Pop (half) Century! Where Did It Go???

Your pictures are awesome! I love the castle all lit up. I have to book a trip to see the Christmas decorations and go to MVMCP, maybe for 2008 :goodvibes .

Sorry I have been gone for so long. I have quit my job and so I only have access to the internet when I visit MeMom or when I go to the library and I am chasing a 16 month around as she takes all kinds of books off the shelves. I am enjoying my time at home with Brooklynn and preparing for the holidays and our trip. MeMom doesn't understand why she must use a suitcase instead of a rubbermaid tub to pack. i tried to explain the TSA has standards.

Hi Jill! Welcome back! we missed you,,You quit your job at the day care center? Does that mean you might be moving closer to MeMom?! :cool1:
Maybe you can ask Santa (John) for a computer under the tree? :rolleyes1

Hi Memom and Brooklynns Mom and Brooklynn and family!!! :goodvibes I have just had a thought. Rather than travel home between your trips you should just rent a room in the castle and stay there. You could become the park photographer! :cloud9: Seriously, I would hire you to come with us on a trip and be our photographer!!!!   :rotfl: I just love all of your new pics of Christmas. :santa:

Glenda - Are you on your way yet?!?! You get to have Christmas with Mickey very soon!

scottny - When we drive, I always put my clothes in a big Rubbermaid tub. I don't have any good luggage, so it's just easy to throw my clothes in the tub and snap the lid shut. Jill makes fun of me, of course. It's okay for driving, but she insists that I do not embarrass her at the airport...I have to have a real suitcase.

carrieannie - I wish they were moving closer, but not as of now. John has a really good job situation in Huntsville, and he just got a really good raise a little while back. At the same time, Jill was working 12-14 hour days and spending little time with Brooklynn. Home life was about non-existent, and the owners, unfortunately, weren't working with her on any ways to create a good work situation, so it was just best for her to take some time off to be a great mommy and decide what kind of work situation she wants. She may work part-time later, or even a regular full-time job (40 hours, not twice that!), but she's not going to think about anything seriously until after the holidays. It has been nice, because now when I talk to her in the middle of the day, she's been to story hour at the library or a playdate at the mall with church friends or she's got the house all in order and dinner started. That's so much different than the many times I had called before to hear her so stressed at the other end of the line.

tinkgurl - I can definitely picture you dancing to the music. I know you're fun to be around. That sounds just like Kristi, because she would not hesitate to do the same.

are in WDW now, I think. I hope you are having a GRAND time!!! We'll look forward to you sharing pictures on your own reports, and you can put one on here, as well.

snowbell - I'm enjoying your report, and I hope everyone from this TR will follow your link and enjoy the great pictures you're putting up. You and Joe are a very cute couple, and I'm so glad you guys had a great time.

kaysmommie - Definitely go to see the decorations. We've now seen Halloween and Christmas, and it just adds to the Disney excitement.

declansdad - Festival of the Lion King never gets old. Wouldn't it be cool if you had the talent such that your job was just to go out and sing four or five times a day?

twob4him - I enjoy taking the pictures so much. Wouldn't that be an awesome job? Just following families around watching them have a great time and getting all on pictures for them to keep and treasure?

I hope you guys all have a wonderful Sunday planned. Be safe in all your church, shopping, visiting, etc. travels today. Brooklynn is here this weekend, and she's beginning to repeat everything you say. We all love having them come to visit. We bought new ornaments yesterday, and since one of her new words is "Melmo", I now have a new Elmo ornament on the tree. Go figure. Being a MeMom is pretty awesome.:)

Just a few more days and then us girls will be boarding a plane to fly to Orlando! We leave Christmas day afternoon so Santa will stop in Huntsville and then we are off to Nashville!!!

that pic is gorgeous.

Thanks Scott....and that may not even be the best....it's only one of about 400 that I took last night when I was watching Wishes :lmao:

I have a crazy amount of pics....if I can get them organized and put on photobucket (or someone let me know if there's an easier way) I may do a photo TR :upsidedow

We had a great time.....and honestly I think I could have watched that castle instead of doing anything else....I wish they would have it like that all the time :goodvibes

photo tr's r very good.
it is easy to do just a little time consuming. I have the pro version so I do bulk uploads. I don't know if the free version has that or not. Either way go for it, I would like to see the pics.

Thanks for sharing that great picture VandyFan. I will look forward to seeing pictures and hearing about your great trip!

I have only checked in a couple of times lately. School has been so crazy - SO much testing. You wouldn't believe it unless you lived it. Also, we lost a family friend last week, so we've been sort of down about that. He had been Trent's Sunday School teacher for a while, but he and his family changed churches a while back to be closer to their home. He was also the President of the Christian school my kids grew up at. He was only 47 years old. He had a disease that had weakened his body, and he couldn't fight off a surgery that he had to have. He leaves behind a sweet wife and two beautiful daughters. He was a good man, and I have no doubt that we will see him again in the forever, but it is sad to watch his family hurt so much now.

I will try to wrap this up soon, as Jill, Brooklynn, and I will be going back again in a little over a week. Hopefully, I'll come back with some good Christmas pictures to share.

Back to the November trip:

We headed over to the land of the dinosaurs. We rode Dinosaur, which we have been on many times before, but it's always fun.

Then we went to visit the milder dinosaur cousins.

This is me acting silly. This is also Drew thinking in his head that he wished he had a normal mom!

After that, we got ice cream and found a place to watch the parade.

I had never seen the Christmas version, so I really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to sharing it with Brooklynn soon. I love to watch her watch the characters.

Then we just browsed a few shops,
