excellent pics again MeMom
I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and wonderful New Year. Have a wonderful time on your next adventure into the World. Is it ASMu, where your are staying? DH and I stayed there for our honeymoon trip and had a lovely time and I hope you do as well!
Yes, we're giving All-Star Music a try. My heart belongs to Pop Century, but I wanted to try all the values to see for myself. I've stayed at All-Star Sports twice, and we'll be staying at Movies in March, but unless I feel something special when I stay there (as opposed to just visiting to take pictures, which I've done at all of them), we'll stick with Pop as our first choice. Of course, I have not stayed at any moderates or deluxes. I'm hoping I'll get to stay at least one night in all of them eventually, just to say I'm a seasoned Disney veteran. I'm too frugal by nature to spend more than necessary on a room, though, so most likely those stays will be one night added to the end of a value stay.
twob4him - I was just thinking about you the other day! I was thinking how fun it must be at your house with those girls so excited about Christmas. I can't wait to see Brooklynn in the midst of her presents...probably playing with a box while the present lays over to the side.
snowbell - Let's see a picture of your tree with the Disney ornaments. I've got a Charlie Brown tree with little kid ornaments, and I love it! By the way, your trip report is great!
declansdad - Lucky Ma! I wish I could be off to do my Master's, but that'll never happen. It'll be done online one class at a time whenever I can get to it. Maybe in time to retire?!?!
Glendamax - You've just gotta stop spending so much of your time socializing with your Dis fan club while you're on your trips so that you can get to all the stuff in Disney!!!
scottny - You'll be standing by that waterwheel at POR very soon. I always like to get a picture of that from a different angle. It lends itself to picture-taking, I think. I think it's kind of cool looking.
tinkgurl - Primeval Whirl was kind of jerky, but it didn't bother me. Trent hadn't been feeling so well, so he opted out of it. I can ride Space Mountain and ToT and every jerky ride except Rockin' Roller Coaster. There's something about the way that one pulls at me that makes my back and neck hurt. I think the last time I rode it I pretty much decided that that was it for me on that ride, but everything else is still a go for me, as of now.
carrieannie - If you do dress up your Jeep, put a picture on here. Surely you can get away with Disneying it up just a little!
punkin413 - Are you caught up yet? That's what you get for having such a life out there in the real world. You lose out on what's going on around here!

I'm ready to put up the next few pictures, so here we go!
After resort hopping, in search of the big trees not to be found, I met Trent at MGM.
We've got reservations for PrimeTime in March. I'm going to try the fried chicken this time, I guess. Last time I ate here, I cleaned my plate so no one would fuss at me, and I was so stuffed I was sick. This time, I may have to resort to hiding things under my napkin, because I can't eat that much all in one sitting. I'm a grazer, not a gorger. I hope "Aunt Whoever-We-Get" will understand.
I have not eaten here yet. The flowers were very pretty.
I really thought MGM was really decked out nicely for Christmas.
We also watched Beauty and the Beast, and Trent recorded some of it on his phone and sent pictures to Kristi. She, like Jill, Brooklynn, and I, loves this show!
We ate lunch at ABC Commissary and just walked around randomly. I wanted to see Little Mermaid, but that didn't thrill Trent, so we skipped it. We thought about seeing Indiana Jones, but it was time for us to meet Drew at the hat, so we headed over there.
Here's the few from where I sat to wait for him.
I sat and watched a dozen little girls go nuts over all the Hannah Montana stuff. One mom was so involved with her daughter that she kept losing her son, Anthony. He was about six, and not a bit interested in staying with them. She would be talking to the daughter, and then every five minutes she'd look around and notice that Anthony had slipped off. Then she screamed, and I do mean SCREAMED, "ANTHONY!!!!", and Anthony would come out of hiding. Then, instead of holding his hand or making him somehow stay with her, she'd go back to the discussion with the daughter about choosing what she wanted. Guess what little Anthony did? Yep, he walked away again, and momentarily the blood-curdling scream would come again, "ANTHONY!" It was funny and stupid at the same time, because he really could have gotten lost. I know it happened at least five times while I sat there, so I wonder what their whole day was like. There was an older man sitting on the bench with me, also waiting for someone, and he kept shaking his head and pulling his ear and squirming. I think he had a few words for both Anthony and his mother, but he was nice and never said them. He just shook his head and squirmed, and then it was time for me to go. I hope Anthony is okay out there in this big world!
Drew thinks Lights, Motor, Action is awesome, so we knew we had to see that for him. He loves cars. We were so high up that we could see seven states. Naah, that's Rock City, but we could see three notable icons.
Drew filmed a lot of this and took a few pictures. If he could, he would have the job of driving these cars.
Then we decided to go to Tower of Terror. The wait wasn't long, so we got in line. Again, Trent didn't think his stomach could take it on this day, so he waited for us. Since his big surgery, he has a few days here and there where things just aren't quite right, and this was one of those days. Luckily, they are few and far between.
A picture of Drew taking a picture on the ride. I've been on this ride many times, and this was the best one I've ever had. At one of the times we were in mid-air, it seemed like it was longer than ever. It was very fun! I can't wait to take my friend back in March to ride it. She absolutely cracked up on this ride the last time she went with us.
Before some dinner, we watched these for a few minutes. The streets were packed!
Those were just a few snippets for the day. It was time to get in the long Pop Century bus line and head back to the room.
