Aw! I just found ur new trippie!

I love the archway pic from the room!

And I love all the MK pics! I miss it SO much.:guilty: The castle looks beautiful with all those lights on it!

the night pics were great. :thumbsup2

wannago2disney - I'm so excited for you and your family. This first time trip will be awesome! I know they are bouncing off the walls with Christmas AND Disney on the horizon.

scottny - Always the encourager. Thanks for joining in and for always having a kind word.

pooksma and declansdad - That's awesome about your POFQ trip being booked. It's a pretty, peaceful feeling resort. By the time you go, my "year of many trips" will be over, so I'll be settling in to just read about others' trips for a long while. Please share a picture of Declan and your tree with us.

snowbell - I look forward to reading and seeing all about your trip. I'm glad you were able to slow down and see some different things this trip.

tinkgurl - You need to get yourself on the books for next summer! We've go to have another great trip report with all those great pictures of your fun family. The castle was beautiful. They had a little show where they lit it up in spurts until the whole thing was covered. My pictures don't do it justice.

SwansLoveDisney - I'm enjoying your report, too, and all your good pictures. I'm glad you like my weird pictures. Sometimes I get funny looks when the crowds are hustling by and I'm over at the side taking a picture of a duck or a sign or a trash can or something.

I cannot believe you can technically start your 4th pre-trippee after this report. Your pictures are so good. I cannot believe all of the things that I missed. And I really thought I paid close attention this time. :lmao:
i wish you could make a trip next June. I am taking my Mom and Aunt.. It would have been great to meet you in person.

It is too bad that our trip don't coincide some time. Meeting you in person would be great.

We haven't put our trees up yet but when we do, we will share.

Take care.

Day Two - Animal Kingdom

Animals have Christmas, too. Here's their tree.

We got there within a few minutes of opening. I was determined to go through the "secret"way, which just means we walked through the Rainforest Cafe and went out the back. Since I'd never been in that way, I was pretty excited. I don't need to tell you that I was made fun of, right?

disneypics142.jpg

We walked around a little while, and then stopped at Pizzafari for breakfast. I've eaten several lunches there, but never a breakfast.

disneypics143.jpg

We watched these guys play King of the Mountain.

We also witnessed them play Eat the Bunny.

AK decor.

We took the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch.

Drew was fascinated by the tarantulas.

disneypics168.jpg

This guy was very active on this morning. So often you see snakes just laying coiled up, but he was doing a lot of moving, so it was kind of neat to see that.

disneypics174.jpg

Trent really wanted to see Festival of the Lion King.

Both boys really enjoyed the show.

So many talented people help to provide the whole Disney experience.

Lunch was at Flame Tree.

disneypics195.jpg

I love those two rib-eating guys so much!

We had company for lunch. There is such beauty in God's creatures.

Next up, we'll venture over to see some prehistoric animals.

I loved all the Animal Kingdom X-mas decorations! How festive and cute that they stay with the animal theme!

Hi,,MeMom! Thanks for the pictures! It was great to finally see the boys in the same picture! very handsome guys!

I really enjoyed your AK pics! Hopefully one day I'll actually have the patience and the time to tour this park properly! That place is HUGE, and I'm always running for the exit after a few rides . . .

Sorry I have been gone for so long. I have quit my job and so I only have access to the internet when I visit MeMom or when I go to the library and I am chasing a 16 month around as she takes all kinds of books off the shelves. I am enjoying my time at home with Brooklynn and preparing for the holidays and our trip. MeMom doesn't understand why she must use a suitcase instead of a rubbermaid tub to pack. i tried to explain the TSA has standards.
