Baby and the Tramp...and a Pop (half) Century! Where Did It Go???

Sounds like you have another great trip. Looking forward to hearing about the next one.

A while back you asked about our trees. Well here you go. The first is our main tree and the second is our fun tree with our Disney and Rudolf ornaments with a few other thrown in.

Have a great Christmas everone.

That's beautiful! What a nice way to start off my Christmas Eve. I love the picture of Declan above the fireplace!

I was asleep just a few minutes ago, but my dear eldest son called and woke me up to go on a very important mission. He's at Kristi's, and he's missing a pair of socks that he thought he had put in her goodie bag. He thinks it's on the couch in his room. Or somewhere. If you could see his room right now, you would know that that's a scary mission to tackle right out of a dead sleep. Being of unsound (translate motherly) mind and body, I got up to find the socks. They were right there in plain sight. In a sack. Under a t-shirt. Under a Florida Gators blanket.

Mission accomplished.

Now I'm awake for at least the next two hours. I can either wash dishes, fold clothes, or Dis.

Duh.

So, thank you very much, declansdad and pooksma and Declan for starting my Christmas Eve off in such a nice way by sharing your trees and your home with us. It looks so warm and inviting, and I know that a wonderful, lucky, blessed family lives there. I know that Santa will be good to all of you.

And to all who are riding along on this continuing journey of Disney journeys and added mayhem, I wish you a happy, cheerful

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Did I post pictures of Christmas at Opryland here in Nashville yet? I know I talked about it, but I don't remember, and I'm too lazy to scroll back through. So, if anyone remembers, let me know. If I didn't, I'll put a few up for your hillbilly viewing pleasure.

Hey Mom! Since I threw you off by posting at a "normal" time, I thought I'd say Hello now!

Love the pic from the stunt show were you can see TOT, the Hat, and the Movie ride. Also love the one inside TOT. I cant believe you enjoy getting on that thing! :sad2:

nice trees.

no tree here, not in the mood to get one this year.

Thanks Scott. I can't imagine a Christmas without a tree. When we finally decide to do a Disney Christmas trip, it's going to be weird.

You are very welcome MeMom. We hope that you and your family have a great holiday as well and another wonderful, safe trip to tell us about.

eta: that's my favourite picture of Declan, the little ham loves to have his picture taken.

It's 6AM here and I can't believe I am the only one up:confused3 ...but since I am, Have a Very Merry Christmas and happy flight later today!:santa:

Thanks for the well wishes. We'll be flying over Georgia (punkin413 and cherokeemamma territory) this afternoon. Everybody look up in the sky and wave! We hope to be in the beautiful Grand Floridian tonight to see the gingerbread house.

I hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas Day with your families! We are so very blessed to have the families we have at home and the friends we have here on the Disboards. Maybe our paths will cross someday on some of our trips.

I've got the boys' gifts under the tree, but they'll still be asleep for several more hours. The only lights that are on are the tree lights and the candles. It's very pretty and peaceful.

Oh, and the light from the computer screen.

Jill sent a picture via Trent's cell phone last night of Brooklynn in her Christmas pajamas. I can't wait to see her again today and spend a lot of time with her this week.

In all our fun and happiness, let's take a minute today to remember those who are hurting in some way, in the hospital, in different stages of grief, etc. There's a thread on the Community Board about remembering people we've loved that will really pull at your heartstrings.

I wish for all of you spiritual, physical, and emotional health this season and in the new year, along with all the happiness you can handle. Be thankful for all that you have, and try to touch someone else's life every day in some little way to make this old world a better place. I thank you all for the friendship you've shown to my family on this forum. I look forward to sharing many more of our trips with you and to reading all about all of your trips. as well.

Please share the fun your family is having with all of us, if you're so inclined, through words and pictures. Maybe the moderators will allow for a little Christmas celebration even though it's on a trip report. I'd love to see everyone's kids and all their Santa stuff and trees and good food and just everything!

I will believe me! It seems like at my church, alot people tend to "check out" at the end of the year. So my thoughts are always with grieving families at this time of the year. Thanks for mentioning it!

I wish for all of you spiritual, physical, and emotional health this season and in the new year, along with all the happiness you can handle.
Thank you! I pray the same for you!

MeMom Love all the updates! I missed some of that stuff on my too short trip. Can't wait to see more of your Christmas pics! I hope your trip has been Magical!! :santa:

We got back earlier this evening. We had a great time, and everything was beautiful and in full Christmas attire. I took pictures of trees and decorations everywhere!

Ask Jill. She'll tell you it's true. She spends much of the trip looking over her shoulder trying to find me because I've stopped to take a picture.

We were very pleased with All-Star Music. I'll tell you more later.

The crowds were not any worse than we're used to in the summer until last night at Magic Kingdom. It was so crowded we could barely walk, so we left. They had us exiting through the behind-the scenes-backlot of Main Street because there were so many people coming in, you couldn't get out via Main Street. We went back this morning for morning EMH and walked onto everything we wanted to.

More later. I do have good pictures to share. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. We're exhausted and are headed to bed!

Happy New Year! :woohoo: :woohoo: :dance3:

We had a great trip, and everything was beautiful, but those pictures will come a little later. I'm going to put up the start of the trip and then skip over to the POR pictures for scottny before he leaves in a few days. After that, I'll get back to doing things in order.

Here we are at the Nashville Airport. Trent and Brooklynn relaxed in a rocker while Jill and John walked around.

Then John spent the last few minutes with Brooklynn before we left.

P1130060.jpg

We watched planes until ours arrived.

P1130061.jpg

Brooklynn stayed awake for every bit of five minutes on the plane

and then fell asleep.

She slept until about ten minutes before we landed, much to our delight.

We're Soarin' over Georgia!

Finally, we were on the ME bus, headed for All-Star Music.
