This will mean nothing to you guys (with the possible exception of SadieDog) but I saw Fritz Weatherbee in the Shaw's supermarket last night!! I passed him three times in the aisles!

It was SO. COOL.

(and just as a matter of info, Fritz is a NH celebrity....he does a couple of local-interest programs and is quite popular).

We're off to VT!....have a great one y'all! :goodvibes

That's a tough one!! Our family trips have always been in September and I *LOVE* the low-crowd factor. Free Dining also helps. ;) I did my solo in May and that's beautiful also, esp. with the Flower & Garden going on at Epcot (although, by "tail end" you may miss that). And, of course you'd get lower crowds in early December too (assuming you go like right after Thanksgiving or so) but with the benefit of all the holiday lights and decorations. What to do, what to do....

.
Last May we missed all of F&G EXCEPT the massive Cars topiary. It stayed up late since it went up late. I love going at the end of May. Memorial Day wasn't that bad. We spent the day at DHS and avoided MK like the plague. We had great weather and extremely low crowds. May is also DH's birthday month and I'd love for him to be the birthday boy on a trip, but he REALLY wants to go for our actual anniversary, and that's in December.

But he wants to go in September to go back to MNSSHP... and the possibility of FD.

I love December in WDW, but it's the end of term...

I told him that it's 100% up to him when we go.

He suggested spring break or actually going for Christmas. I really don't want to spend that kind of money.

I feel bad for my kids today.

They were supposed to have their T-ball game, but the league cancelled it due to the weather. First, it was freezing out. Second, we had a nice-sized thunderstorm roll through at 9a. They've been bummed out ever since so I called a Lego-building lazy day.

Oh, and DH suggested me going back to school to get my teaching license. It's not a half bad idea, but I'm not too keen on going back to school. It's not like I don't have enough going on right now.

DD in a MAPACA alpaca show. It's the largest on the east coast. She got 5th out of 5. :cool1::banana:

You don't want to deal with that kind of CROWD!!!....:scared: I know there are people who must be there on Christmas, but I'm not one of them.....Have you seen the mobs of people during the Christmas parade on tv?!!....and that's filmed ahead of time!! You get all the benefits of the holiday season earlier in the month, without the mass of humanity.

So cute!! Congrats to your DD!

Yeah, in theory being in Disney on Christmas sounds great, but it would be more like torture to me. Wall to wall people. No thank you.

Good morning.

Still cold here. 55 in my house. Brrrrrrrrrr Tomorrow should be a little better.

....it's not that bad - as long as you are NOWHERE NEAR MK!

Just hoping for some thoughts and prayers. My grandmother (age 84) fell yesterday. They are trying to get her to move to a rehab facility for 6 weeks. She is refusing.

I'm not putting this on Facebook because we want to wait to tell my sister and aunt until the doctor tells us something tomorrow. My sister can be very problematic. My aunt has breast cancer.

It's sounding more and more like we're backing BACK UP TO 2014.

DH was hellbent on spring break and I've told him it's too expensive. TWICE. When I finally put a number under his nose he FINALLY listened.

He is worried about taking DS out of school BUT I'm looking into putting him into a YES program while we're there. So now he's back at considering September 2013. MAYBE...

You've got it Amanda. Praying for a positive turnout for both.
