We really liked CSR - we felt away from the over-the-topness of Disney there. It was very relaxing for us!

We are finally in our room at CSR. It nice and relaxing here. It has rained most of the day, and we scratched our commando Magic Kingdom day.

It appears that we are in a water view room, which would be an upgrade!

I really like it here--wish the entire family could stay here. It would be perfect. Those Jr. Suites are expensive, though.

It's official: ticket prices are going up on Sunday.....SOOOO glad I ordered mine this week!!! I had a feeling...

I got a run in this evening after grocery shopping. It had been a week and would be the last chance for a while. Tomorrow is going to rain. Sunday, it's going to rain again. And then on Monday, rain. And so it goes.

Now I'm having popcorn and a Double Bag Long Trail ale.

I had to turn off the Weather Channel last night.....they were doing the weekly forecast, and New England is the ONLY part of the country that is THIS COLD ALL WEEK!!! Everyone else is warm/hot, like it SHOULD be in June for crying out loud. This is just disgusting. The drought is over!!....enough already!!

I had to turn off the Weather Channel last night.....they were doing the weekly forecast, and New England is the ONLY part of the country that is THIS COLD ALL WEEK!!! Everyone else is warm/hot, like it SHOULD be in June for crying out loud. This is just disgusting. The drought is over!!....enough already!!

My dad and his wife are going up to Maine this week for vacation. He was not thrilled with the forecast but they are looking for a break from our heat. And I'm not sure where they are going, I didn't pay close attention.

I spent 5 hours working on my parent's and grandparent's yards today. I have to do a major cutback/purge each year and since DH was out of town with family I had time without having to hear him pester me about when I'd be done.

Now it's time to start getting ready for a garage sale this week. Every little bit will help me pay for our trip next spring!

That's too bad. It's going to be a crappy week. Memorial Day weekend was low 80's and dry (not humid) it was beautiful. You just never know. I hope the forecast changes for them. Do you know what they are going to do while here?

Mornin' peeps. What a CARPY DAY!!! Mean Queen, it doesn't matter where in Maine your dad is going......all of New England is just cold and rotten! He's escaping your heat for sure. I feel like I'm going to FL in the middle of winter, for crying out loud, since I'm looking forward to some warmth!!!

So the new lady in the building had a HUGE party over the weekend....not sure what it was about but her guests were arriving all dressed up. Thing is, though, there had to be 30 cars out here (and keep in mind she's in a tiny 1-bedroom!)......We went to town for 15 minutes when people were first starting to arrive (having no clue what was about to happen), and came back to find our parking space taken up. DH ended up texting the landlord, who was out of town but less than thrilled. He tried to call her but she wasn't answering her phone. Gee, wonder why.... He was here at the property yesterday and I noticed this morning that her compost bin is gone. I guarantee he made her remove it! It's visible from the road and he hates that kind of clutter. I think this lady is confusing the term "community" (apt. living) with "commune." No, what's mine is not yours for the taking/using, thank you very much.

Last full week of school for the kiddos here!! Busy week, too. Lots going on.....field trips, meetings, plays.

And our trip is inching ever closer.

Sorry your neighbor is such a pain LM. You will love our weather down here. It's been mid 80's to 90's. Though it's been raining a lot, which we need. It shouldn't be anything to ruin your vacation.

We just realized our trip will be a lot colder than we thought so we need to find warmer clothes for the kids. The highs in parts of Alaska we're going to is the 50's. That's colder than our winter weather.

How many of us wish we were at WDW right now with Amanda?
