Babnanas 11: "Boo-boo's are OUT, Toast is IN….

 to you too.

And.....I thought of you and your family on Thursday and lit some candles.

The church I went to was St Patrick's Cathedral in Melbourne. I happened to have my camera on me; and this church does attract the tourists so there are normally lots of people taking pictures inside. So I took the pictures as objective evidence.

:goodvibes

Gorgeous building.

I finished up shopping this morning!! Found everything I wanted and I'm feeling good about what everyone's getting in their sock.

Now I'm baking. Or attempting to. Evidently all the spaces I need for walking and setting things down, are also great feline napping spots. ::sigh:: I just took a batch of almond biscotti out of the oven, and I have gingerbread cookie dough chilling in the fridge. DS18 bought a roll of Pillsbury cookie dough (peppermint sugar cookies) and he wants to make those later, too. It's smelling pretty nice around here!

This evening, I wrap! ::yes::
.

Oh I bet your house did smell great. Yum

Hi y'all! I know, it's been a while. The period between Hallowe'en and Christmas is my busy season, so I've been ... working! Don't faint.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Solstice, and Happy Kwanzaa! Thank you for being a part of my life! :cool1:

We just finished Christmas Eve dinner - seafood, and it was delicious! Ornament exchange is finished, including the pets. I even baked 6 dozen snicker doodles somewhere in there today.

Tomorrow, I'll finish wrapping early in the morning, set the table in the dining room, start Christmas dinner and take a few moments to be thankful for those who share my life, especially you. :flower3:

Now I'm going to head to bed and get some well deserved rest. Did I mention I cleaned the house and cooked dinner? Scotty and Sulu aren't sure what's going on. :confused3 They do love the seafood leftovers - the ones they can have anyway!

Oh yes, just so some of you can be jealous - Christmas morning breakfast is Krispy Kreme doughnuts, fresh from the Krispy Kreme bakery less than 10 minutes away. Next year, make your reservations at Scotty and Sulu's earlier! :lmao:

Night, y'all! :wave2:

6 dozen cookies! You were busy.

....I have almost no voice....
Too much caroling?

PIO - gorgeous photos! Your garden and the church are gorgeous. I can see why the church attracts visitors with cameras.

Good morning, y'all! We survived the frenetic cooking/eating cycle yesterday, barely. It was delicious, if the cook does say so herself! All had a great day. But we forgot to make our phone calls. I guess we were having a very good time. :rolleyes1

And when my cousins got home, they found a lost dog. So they spent a little while with the dog at the emergency vet's to scan the dog for a microchip. He was chipped, so one phone call and a little later, he's home with his family. :thumbsup2

Hey ya'll. :goodvibes
Life is quiet today. I'm taking my time cleaning. Life has been so hectic the last few months. It feels good to move at my own pace.

Too much revelry?! :drinking1

.

....MY YOUNGEST DS WAS SICK IN BED ON TUESDAY! He slept for 13 hours and his one eye was all red.....I kept feeling like my chest was hurting and now I have no voice....:confused3

Oh ick. I'm sorry... Hope you both are on the mend soon! It's miserable to be sick any time, let alone the holidays. :sad2:

I'll see your cookies and Krispy Kreme for breakfast and raise you a bowl of trifle. (I had so much leftover trifle that I was compelled to eat it for breakfast!!! :teeth:)

...wow....you DO have some STRANGE Christmas trees by you...no wonder you're the 'Blunder from Down Under'....

....and Merry Christmas to you and your family too!

Same to you, Kimmar. I hope despite the sick, you were able to find some time to enjoy family, food and have some fun. :goodvibes

....I have to keep clearing my throat (I was sneezing yesterday) and my chest feels a bit heavy. But I don't have a fever or anything - just no voice....:confused3
