B2B Cruise Question

After doing quite a bit of reading, I had a question for something that we may encounter if we go this route. If we book a B2B, my DW may only be able to make the second cruise.

If that is the case, how does reboarding work? DD and I would be disembarking and boarding early. DW would arrive later with the rest of the cattle call, or would she be able to join us early, or us having to wait longer?.

B2B cruisers board first. Sometimes way before the actual boarding time starts for the new cruisers. Sometimes just before. Your wife would have to wait to board when her boarding number is called. You can wait with her, if you wish.

I was reading another thread that stated everyone in a Stateroom must check in and board together. I am concerned if we go this route that we would have to wait hours (around 4 hours) for my DW to get there.

No, B2B people check in earlier than when they open the doors for the new cruisers. You wife will check in separately.

Thank you. That makes it easier to know when we plan. It is difficult being a teacher. Rarely are they approved for a week out. At least on a 4-day, she should be able to get 2-3 days approved.

You will receive a pass to show that you are B2B. You can leave the B2B waiting area and join your party. When they start calling boarding numbers you can show your pass and state that the other person is with you and you should be able to board with boarding group number 1. Your party will not be able to board with you earlier than the start of boarding. But, you shouldn't have to wait for the persons boarding number.
