Hi Everyone,
If you are tossing up what type of transportation to take (meers, car service or renting a car) from the airport to your hotel, I'd suggest calling Avis and checking their rates. We usually use Tiffany Town Car (and we love them) but this time we will have a few extra days so we might try to go out to Kennedy Space Center (4 year old son loves that kind of stuff. He's alreay asking to go to space camp
). So I checked the rates for a full size car with Avis on the web and with my Entertainment Passbook discount got a rate of $176 (inculding all taxes ) for 7 days in Feb. Then I called the reservations number and the rate was $166.00 (including all taxes). Also Ill get an additional $15.00 of that with passbook coupon. If you ever rent full size cars you will know this is a fantastic rate. Before the coupon it works out to $18.00 per day. The regular rate on the web (no entertainment discount) was $197 (inculding all taxes.
