August Exercise Challenge...Everyone Welcome!

I'm finally back on the wagon after vacation. Today I did 5.5 miles on the treadmill in 70 minutes.

Yesterday, I ran/walked 35 minutes. I was a lazy bum today. It was nice. Lol

50 minutes run/walk this morning after being sick for two days. Now I feel terrible. Oh, well. I have to get back to normal sometime.

Today's exercise - 111 minutes

One run today, with my wife:
Warmup walk - 5 minutes
Ran 7 miles (with walk intervals) - 96 minutes
Cooldown walk - 10 minutes

August tally - 1064/3000
 
Wow, I've been really bad about reporting (and not too good about exercising either :eek: )

Tues 8/6/13 - 30 min walk
Wed 8/7/13 - 30 min strength training
Thurs 8/8/13 - 20 min bike ride
Sat 8/10/13 - 65 min run/walk

New total as of 8/10/13 - 245/1200
 
I started the month off great, then strained my ankle :( missing out on a 5k this weekend to let it heal.
 
120 more minutes since Wednesday. Gym mostly treadmill, some machines, then more treadmill and walking on land.

330/1250 total so far.
 
Ran/walked 5.5 miles yesterday morning - my longest distance at one time to date. Need to be twice that in 4 months (doing a New Years Eve half). I can't wait til August temps are just a memory :thumbsup2

I bought a fitbit flex the other day and am loving tracking steps (but too hard to figure out the time for that since its pretty much throughout the whole day, but it adds the calories you burn to your daily total so its cool).
 
Today I did bridge to 10k and ran for 65 minutes straight. Felt good to be able to do it after all the time off for vacation. With some extra cool down time, I had a total of 7.7 miles in 95 minutes.
