We had been in Rome in Oct. Go to www.RickSteeves.com and download his walking tours for Rome onto your MP3 player. It's free. It is easy to do the walking tours and use the trains if you have to.
He also has other tours.

A friend of mine just got back and she recommended www.angelsanddemons.it

Her tour guide was Roberto and she would recommend requesting him as he was fantastic. The other guy on the tour was not into it as much as Roberto. It was only suppose to last about 3-4 hrs, but we went way over the time and they didn't charge anything extra. I would highly recommend it, but don't expect to see anything else major after the tour, just because of how much time it takes up.

Hi All, we will be joining you on this cruise!! It is myself, my husband, my two daughters, 14 and 17 and my Dad. It is our second Disney cruise and my Dad's first, although he has been on many other cruiselines. I hope he likes DCL as much as we did.

It is my girls' first trip to Europe and we all could not be more excited to be doing this trip. My only worry is that due to scheduling problems we are flying in the day of the cruise, so I am hoping we all do ok with jet lag issues. (My husband keeps telling me that the kids can't be cranky, they will be on a Disney Cruise.)

Looking forward to lots of fun planning and an amazing trip!! Karyn

We are flying in the day of the cruise too. Remember that the first day is at sea. This will help quite a bit with the jet lag. We flew into Rome the day of a tour and did just fine. Be sure to stay awake the first day until normal bedtime. This helps quite a lot. You also want to sleep on the flight as much as possible. To be honest, I am more worried about delays than jet lag.

Well I checked again today, and was given Cabin# 5128. We are super excited to get a Cat 6 for booking a Cat 12 GTY!!

Had a feeling they'd assign 'em today... was checking and it showed up around noon. Fingers crossed that this will hold.

Once you've logged in and brought up your reservation number, you'll be in the 'Planning Center'. The page (on the 'my reservations' tab) will look something like this:

How come some people have had theirs already - i thought they'd do them all on the same day feeling very unloved!!!

Don't feel unloved. We have also booked the some cat and ours have not been assigned.

I haven't done the on line check in. Do you think we need to do it before they assign the rooms.

Anyhow with so many upgrades let's keep our fingers crossed. It seams that this particular cruise is not heavily booked

I am wondering what is ( if any) the creterium used by Disney to award the lovely upgrades. Can some of you who have already received the cabin assignment, tell me please when did you do the booking, and if you have many tours booked through Disney.
We are trying to figure out our odds on getting an upgrade as well
