Jenny I think you might be able to chat in this forum.

Really??!!?? Really and truely??!!?? I just thought maybe someone was clicking the "boot" button on my before. :rotfl2:

It's a wonderful March day here  . It was 35 and raining when I left for work at 7:30 this morning. It started to snow mid morning and has been snowing hard ever since. The roads all had at least an inch of snow on them when I came home tonight at 5 and it was only 15 out. It's windy, so it's drifting really bad. To make matters worse, I pulled off one road onto the main road (a 4 lane road), made the turn through all the snow and go about 500 feet and have to stop and pull into the right hand lane because someone is PARKED in the left lane of this 4 lane road (where the speed limit is supposed to be 40 mph) SCRAPING her windows. REAL SMART. She could have at least pulled to the right or pulled into the parking lot of one businesses right there (next to where she was "parked").

That was my wonderful drive home.....

I didn't get booted, but it wasn't "refreshing" and adding the new chatter (even when I posted it would take awhile to show it). Sorry guys...I guess I just can't chat. I wish I could 'cause I miss so much.

Jenny I understand about your drive home. My windshield wiper decided to cease doing its' job this morning. And even after running the defroster and heater full blast it still wasn't working right. Then it finally stopped snowing and is frigid and very windy. Driving with the snow blowing across the road and directly into the windshield is no fun. Kept thinking about that movie "the Day After Tomorrow." Should have seen the poor dog. She went out and turned around and tried to get right back in.

Anyway glad we all made it home safely.

I didn't even bother with the wipers 'cause it was just making it worse - spreading the melted snow out on the windshield and freezing immediatley, so I just left it there. Our dog does the same thing. He sometimes doesn't even step off the stoop. He turns around and heads right back in. There's no making him go if he does that.

I feel sorry for all of you with the crappy weather. It was 72 degrees and sunny at my house today!

Hey, watch it, you Oregonian's!!!! Weather bragging is copyrighted by Floridians!!!

OK, OK, - I'm jealous of both places!!!!!

Weather here today is once again under a "Cold Weather Alert", with a -29C wind chill! (They keep telling us that Spring is only 11 days away - Only by the calendar, my friends! )

Have a happy Day, everyone!

Arlene

I can sympathize with you, Arlene. It's only 12 degrees right now and the wind chill is -20. Gee, I can't wait to go outside today. I'm thankful for the 2 hour delay for school. At least I get to stay inside for a little while longer.

Here's a pic of the SOF Brotherhood shirt so far:

And here's a 100% crop of what the image will look like on the shirt:
