OK, so I live near the beach and we never get snow.....so on Sun. afternoon they canceled school for Mon. (in anticipation of the storm. The weather was nice and clear, just cold) Fortunately, Mon morning it did actually snow, sleet, etc. So it was good that things closed. We only got about an inch or so here (other areas in town got 4 or so inches!) Then they canceled school for today cause they were afraid the roads would be icy. The roads were fine by this afternoon and the snow is pretty much gone! Now they announced schools are closed again tomorrow!!!! I thought maybe they would be delayed, but closed!!! I'm ready for DS to go back to school! They are being overly cautious around here!!

No decision here on the schools - fingers crossed for a delay. As much as some folks like the snow day off - our district builds zero days into the schedule for some insane reason. They also don't add to the end of the year so make-up days come from spring break and other holidays.

Just after I sent that last post - email came from the school - CLOSED. At least I will have help digging out!!

OK, I am not ready for these snow days...I'm a Florida gal...This move to PA is definitely going to be an adjustment...

Got back from my house hunting trip. Saw 11 houses the first day, went back the next day and saw 4 of those again plus 1 new one. Narrowed it down to 2houses on the 3rd day. Then on the way to see the 2nd house the last day, I saw one on online that we liked. We rushed to make an appointment to see it since I was leaving in 4 hours. We saw it, loved it, and put an offer on it.

We went back and forth a couple of times but it looks like they've accepted our final offer and we are scheduled to close at the end of next month. Cross your fingers that everything goes smoothly.

YEAH, glad it was a snow day here............I was able to call and get a two -bedroom booked for three-nights at Vero Beach today....YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So we will be at VB three nights and then the port then the cruise and then WDW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just saw on the news that 49 states (Hawaii included) have snow on the ground with the exception of Florida. More incentive for us to move there!

I think the snow here in the southern California mountains will probably be melting this weekend, we are suppose to get 80 degree weather. I'm not ready for warm weather again!!!

Cool, will you do WDW before and after the cruise??

We want to do so much I don't know where to start planning!! WDW of course.... Various family members have also made some requests for KSC, Sea World, and Universal. I'm sure we'll keep busy!!

We may be going down in late June for a couple of days as Tim has a FBLA conference in Orlando. Throw in my thoughts about the Disney marathon in Jan. 2012 and that's three trips in like six months potentially. With that in mind, we may wander off property a bit pre/post cruise.
