Atlantic City Airport

Flying out next Dec 28th first thing in the morning....7am.
What's the parking like there....if you leave your car there.
Also since it's Holiday week could there be a problem getting parking (5days)? We will be getting there real early 4 or 5 am!!!

Also for those of you who have flown Spirit what have been your experiences with them.

We flew Spirit several years ago and did not have any problems with them. I did find out however, that there is no longer free parking at the airport, as was the case the last time we flew out of there. I don't remember what the parking fees are. I can try to find out and send in another reply later.

We will be flying Spirit this coming August, out of AC, but since my sister lives just a few miles from the airport, she will be keeping our car at her house.

parking is usually very good, and yes there is a charge now, i think $5.00 a day. I could be wrong. Spirit has never been a problem and since we live about 15 minutes from there i would never consider Philadelphia.

Is there parking at the airport?
Yes, there is space for approximately 2,000 vehicles at the airport. All of the current parking is surface level, but plans are underway for the developemnt of a parking garage.

How much does it cost to park?
As of December 3, 2001, parking rates will be $3.50 a day max for our economy parking area. Short term parking will be $1.00 an hour.

Hi,
We've used Spirit several times, and haven't had any problems whatsoever.

We like to spend the night before the flight at the Cardiff EconoLodge(I think it's technically located in Egg Harbor).
The hotel is about 10 mins. from the Airport, and rates are around $45-$55 night. The rooms are clean, and every room has a Jacuzzi tub.
We like to walk around the Hamilton mall, check out the Disney store, grab a bite to eat, then settle in at the hotel.
When we wake up, it's just a short 10 min. ride to the Airport. Spending the night close to the Airport kind of gives us the feeling of starting the vacation a day early, too.
